The Orange Order is one of the most mysterious and little remarked upon secret societies around. There's a reason for that: it's also one of the most historically important of the last two-hundred and fifty years. And not for reasons Alex Jones will ever acknowledge.
You see, modern history has produced a certain type of secret society. Think Germany's Thule Society, France's La Cagoule, Italy's Propaganda Due, or our very own Sovereign Order of Saint John. One thing all of these outfits have in common are their own secret armies.
It is now grudgingly acknowledged, at least in Europe, that "stay-behind armies" were a common feature of the Cold War era. These clandestine militias were established across Western Europe in the aftermath of the Second World War by the intelligence services of the US and UK. In theory, these stay-behinds would be used, in conjunction with American and British special operations forces, to wage a guerrilla war against the Soviet Union in the event that Western Europe was invaded.
That was the theory at least. In actuality, these stay-behinds often turned up in more nefarious and illicit activities. This is one aspect of the stay-behinds that has been covered up for decades. Another is the close relation these stay-behinds often had to secret societies, or that they were modeled on interwar arrangements used by groups like the Thulists or Cagoulards.
But to find the origins of the modern use of militias by secret societies, one must turn to the Orangemen. Unlike most secret societies, this group always had militant intentions from it's very inception. For over two plus centuries years, it has been used as a cudgel to support British interests in Ireland and beyond.
The strange and terrible history of the Orangemen and their legacy is the subject of The Farm's latest subscribers episode. Helping me unfold this history is the great Richard B. Spence. Richard is the author of such works as Secret Agent 666: Aleister Crowley, British Intelligence, and the Occult and Trust No One: The Secret World of Sidney Reilly. He is also the host of "The Real History of Secret Societies" of the History Channel's Great Courses series.
This is an epic chat that covers both the modern history of Ireland and Freemasonry, the role of secret societies in the strategy of tension, and all kinds of high weirdness surrounding America's oh-so-mysterious Sovereign Order of Saint John, more commonly known as the "Shickshinny Knights of Malta."
For those of you unaware, by joining The Farm's patron for $5 a month you receive two additional, full lengths episodes per month. That's between two and four hours of bonus material with exclusive guests and content. The likes of Christopher Knowles, J. Michael "Doc Future" Bennett, Neil Sanders, and David Metcalfe have already joined me for these exclusive shows and in the coming weeks Greg Bishop and Adam Gorightly will be dropping by. So please, consider it folks.
Sorry for the lack of updates over the past month here on VISUP. The election cycle was rather exhausting, plus I've embarked upon several new projects since the start of the new year. Among other things, I'm trying my hand at filmmaking. We'll see how that goes, but hopefully I'll be more formally engaged in blogging soon.
Fortunately, The Farm will be seeing regular updates to fill the void. And February starts with two great new episodes. The first witnesses what will hopefully be the first of future collaborations with George from CAVDEF. George is an exciting young researcher whose been investigating the grizzly murder of JonBenet Ramsey. During this wide-ranging conversation, George and I tackle that case and many other things. Hint: as this is an installment in The Farm's ongoing Anti-Mystery Babylon series, it involves a secret society, and one many of you have almost surely never heard of before.
But that's not all. As this is also the first of the month, it also means it's time for another of premium show for The Farm's Subscribers' Section. For for the cost of $5 per month you receive to additional, full length shows per month, typically on the 1st and 16th. And I try my best to ensure these shows have exclusive guests and content.
So, up today is the great Greg Bishop. For those of you unaware, Greg's strange journey began when co-founded the magazine The Excluded Middle during the early 1990s. It covered a host of topics ranging from UFOs, new science, the paranormal, conspiracy, and psychedelia. During the early Naughts, he became the host of Radio Misterioso, which is still going strong today. He is also the author of several works, including Wake Up Down There!, Weird California, It Defies Language!, and of course the classic Project Beta.
For this chat, Greg and I cover the Bennewitz Affair, one of the most cautionary tales in all of conspiritainment. Other topics of note include, J. Allen Hynek, Jacques Vallee, targeted individuals, the Dulce mythos, the Association of Former Intelligence Officers, Greg's Co-Creation hypothesis, conspiracy theories, and the current state of Ufology. We also found the time to talk some rock 'n' roll and even a little Twin Peaks, which we both agree is the best depiction of the Other Side.
In addition to Greg, recent premium interviews have also featured Richard B. Spence and Christopher Knowles, while the coming weeks will see shows with the likes of Adam Gorightly and Walter Bosley, among others.
All right, before I get going, a little housekeeping: It's the middle of the month, which means a new, exclusive interview is available on The Farm's Subscribers' Section. In this episode, I'm joined by the great Adam Gorightly. He is the author of numerous works, including The Prankster and the Conspiracy, The Shadow Over Santa Susana, James Shelby Downard's Mystical War, Caught in the Crossfire, and the forthcoming work Saucers, Spooks, and Kooks. He's also edited and contributed to a few books as well, including the Historica Discordia and the upcoming project involving James Shelby Downard. Finally, he has contributed to Adam Curtis' most recent documentary, Can't Get You Out of My Head: An Emotional History of the Modern World.
As many of your are probably aware, Adam Gorightly is the foremost authority on Kerry Thornley and Discordianism active today. He is also a Discordian and the keeper of their archives, which makes him the perfect candidate for a wide-ranging conversation involving the history of Discordianism and it's enduring legacy. And it's a far-reaching one, to be sure. Besides the influence on the broader counterculture that Adam detailed in The Prankster and the Conspiracy, Discordianism has also has a tremendous influence on neo-Paganism, conspiracy theories, hacker culture, and the rise of the Internet on the whole.

Adam Gorightly |
These are just a few of the Discordian related topics we covered. Also addressed were QAnon, the rise of the alt-right, and a sneak peak at Adam's forthcoming book, Saucers, Spooks, and Kooks. Even without delving to deeply, Adam drops one or two UFO-related names many of you are probably not familiar with.
Adam Gorightly is the latest to join the ever-growing roster of exclusive guests in The Farm's Subscriber's Section. Past guests include Christopher Knowles, Richard B. Spence, Greg Bishop, J. Michael "Doc Future" Bennett, Neil Sanders, and David Metcalfe. Upcoming guests include Walter Bosley and the return of Douglas Valentine to The Farm. Please considering signing up.
China Hands
All right, with that out of the way, let us move on to parapolitics. It probably goes without saying, but there have been many interesting developments of late. One that should surprise no one who reads this blog regularly is the Biden regime's China policy.
I've long maintained that one of the principal purposes of the Trump administration was to reorient America foreign policy towards the Great Powers struggle, with a special emphasis on China. This process really into into overdrive in the final months of Trump's administration, with one final push to wind down the Forever Wars in the Middle East. Biden has seamlessly continued course by announcing a winding down of US support in Yemen.
And despite the inevitable right wing fear mongering over Biden's China policy, early indications are that it will be even more militant than Trump. Remember Trump's trade war with China, which drew so much ire from the neo-liberal order? Well, it doesn't look like Sleepy Joe plans on ending it anytime soon.
Far more eyebrow raising was the recent posture by the Atlantic Council (AC). This particular think tank is at the heart of the Anglo-American neo-liberal order. In particular, the Council has been one of the major proponents of Russiagate. Among others things, it partnered with Facebook to weed out Russia disinformation on social media and has modestly suggested that any political party or movement in Europe and the US that doesn't toe the neo-liberal order line is a tool of Putin.

Already this is putting Biden on much more militant footing with China than Trump. Despite all the bluster, Trump largely tried to impose his China policy via the Treasury Department. Under Biden, it would seem that the Pentagon is poised to take a more active role. Hence, the reason why the Pentagon is in the midst of freeing up as many combat ready forces as possible in the Middle East for redeployment in the "Great Game."
Solar Intrigues
But even as the US prepares for a new Cold War with China, TPTB are still floating the ludicrous Russia narrative. The latest whopper comes from a former KGB officer and associate of Alexander Litvinenko, a spook by the name of Yuri Shvets. Yuri helped frame the current narrative concerning the poisoning of Litvinenko while also posing as a source for journalist Craig Unger, who has a special relationship with the Russian narrative. In this case, Shvets alleges that the KGB cultivated Trump for 40 years as an asset. The claims serve as the backdrop for Unger's latest book, American Kompromat.

state sponsored conspiracy theory |
Talk about red meat for left wing QAnon. Far more interesting is the narrative being framed around the SolarWinds hack. For much of the following rundown, I'm greatly indebted to this fantastic article by Whitney Webb. The attacks appear to have begun in earnest during the fall of 2019, but it was not until spring 2020 that several federal agencies were breached. Among those who have acknowledged breaches are the Departments of Commerce, Energy, and Treasury. There are suspicions that the Departments of Defense and State, along with the Federal Reserve, NASA, and NSA were also affected. Interestingly, the CIA appears to have come out of this fairly unscathed. At least, officially. If so, it would be the only major component of the national security apparatus not compromised.
Beyond government or quasi-government agencies, numerous corporations were affected as well. They included all of the ten major US telecommunications companies; the top five US accounting firms; major contractors like General Dynamics and Booz Allen Hamilton; and perhaps, most intriguingly, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Microsoft. So yeah, much the entire US "Overworld" is vulnerable, in other words.
Predictably, the usual suspects have already implicated the Russians. Elsewhere, Trump (much to the ire of the legacy media) blamed China. Naturally, no one has suggested Israel, though Webb certainly makes a compelling case.
It's also interesting to note that the company at the center of the hack, SolarWinds, is based out of Austin, Texas. And is just so happens that Austin and the surrounding area in central Texas has witnessed a groundswell of tech-related investment in recent years. The impetus for this appears to be the launch of the Army Futures Command in Austin during 2018, which brought in even more dollars for the already growing slew of tech start-up companies there. Also present in Austin are some spooky companies such as Stratfor as well as the heart of Alex Jones' InfoWars empire. So yeah, interesting place for such a pivotal hack to use as a launching point.
Even more interesting is the recent slew of cyber attack snivelry by the neo-liberal order. Klaus Schwab, founder and head of the World Economic Forum (WEF), has recently suggested that a major cyber attack would make the COVID-19 crisis appear as a "small disturbance in comparison." Energy, transportation, and health services to could brought to a halt in the blink of an eye, along with society at large. Or so the story goes.
Of course the WEF, along with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, hosted Event 201 in October 2019. This exercise simulated a global coronavirus outbreak. According to Webb, the WEF ran a similar simulation in 2020, but this one involved a "digital pandemic" brought about by a major cyber attack. Curiously, one of the participants in this simulation, along with VIPs like Schwab and Tony Blair, was Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
Mishustin is an interesting guy. He assumed the post of prime minister in January 2020, shortly before the COVID situation started making headlines. Previously, he had served as head of the Federal Tax Service, which is somewhat akin to the Russian equivalent of the IRS. He gained a reputation there for his tech savvy approach. Among other things, he utilized digital surveillance to collect data on virtually every transaction in Russia and AI to search for tax evaders. This is in keeping with a reportedly longstanding interest Mishustin has in tech, which stretches back to the 1990s.
![]() |
Mikhail Mishustin |
He seems like a sound choice to deal with a cyber attack at an executive level. It's understandable why the Russians would want him in his current post and at the WEF's simulated cyber attack. But would the neo-liberal order really want him there if they were planning on laying the blame on Russia?
This is why I opened with the Biden administration's early moves regarding China. Even with the Russia hysteria at a fever pitch, moves are quietly being made to institutionalize the new Cold War with the PRC.
Concluding Thoughts
To me it at least, the most intriguing aspect of the SolarWinds hack thus far is the close proximity the company has to the Army Futures Command. The AFC is involved in some interesting work, to put it mildly. This particular command is tasked with not just modernizing the US Army, but specifically for future readiness against peers who have achieved near parity. In other words, the AFC is the command tasked with retooling the Army for the forthcoming Great Powers (China) struggle.
To achieve this, no stone has been left unturned. The AFC is throwing money at everything from hypersonic missiles to combat robots and even "super soldier" technology. Yes, the latter is increasingly a part of the Great Powers struggle. Not only is China pursuing them, but so to is France.

Army Futures Command insignia |
For our purposes here, most intriguing are the AFC's efforts to develop "The Network." While the concept is vague, hypothetically it would be a secure network with "offense and defensive cyber capabilities, using artificial intelligence...". In other words, the AFC is at the forefront of beefing up the Army's cyber attack capabilities.
So yeah, it's pretty interesting the company at the forefront of the Great Hack of 2020 is based out of Austin, at the heart of the budding tech industry there the AFC is integrating itself with. And given that the AFC is taking the lead in getting the Army on footing for the coming conflict with China, a compelling narrative could thus been spun if TPTB opt to go the Chinese hacker route.
But it's also interesting that, as noted above, the CIA was comparatively unaffected by the hack. I've been chronicling the ongoing power struggle between the CIA and Pentagon for a while, both in my debut book Strange Tales of the Parapolitical and more recently on this blog. Does the SolarWinds hack belong in that context? There are no such indications thus far, but if the CIA did play a role, it could potentially provide them with glimpse into what their rivals in the Pentagon up to as an added bonus. But this is purely speculation on my part.
Let us return to Webb to wrap up. She proposes that Microsoft will by the target. Given how widely used Microsoft products are, there's no question such an attack would be devastating to the global economy. Such a scenario would be far worse the downturn brought about by COVID-19, to put it mildly. If you haven't done so already, I'd advice giving Mr. Robotviewing in the near future. Certainly it seems more and more like a docu-series by the day.
It's the first of March, which means it's time for another subscribers' episode of The Farm. And the guest for this episode is a heavyweight in multiple fields. Walter Bosley is a counterintelligence specialists who worked for the FBI during the final days of the Cold World, and later, with the Air Force Office of Special Investigation, or AFOSI. After retiring from national security in the early twenty-first century, he took to writing and publishing. His works include The Empire of the Wheel trilogy, Latitude 33: Key to the Kingdom, and Shimmering Light: Lost in an MKULTRA House of Anu in addition to numerous fictional works.
This is a wide ranging conversation. We cover Walter's take on the metaphysics of latitude lines, with a special emphasis on the 37th parallel, the so-called "UFO Superhighway." Inevitably, we touch upon West Virginia, which the 37th runs through. From there, we discuss transgenderism, its links to high weirdness, the tradition of hermaphroditic angels, and William Blake. One of Walter's favorite subjects, C.V. Wood, comes up, as well as Wood's possible connections to Andrija Puharich.

Walter's books can be found here |
For the second half, we delve into the spy games played out in the UFO community between Russian and US spooks; the Bennewitz affair and the AFOSI's role in it; To the Stars Academy; the state of the secret space program; and the COVID Disclosure. We even get into Hellier and QAnon. And there's about a dozen or so other topics we also touch upon, like the metaphysics of schizophrenia. It was certainly a fun time for myself, and as always, I hope you guys enjoy it as well.
This is the latest addition in The Farm's ongoing collection of exclusive content. Other guests have included Christopher Knowles, Richard B. Spence, J. Michael "Doc Future" Bennett, Neil Sanders, David Metcalfe, Greg Bishop, and Adam Gorightly. Upcoming shows include the return of Douglas Valentine on The Farm and the first appearance of Diana Walsh-Pasulka. Sign up now.
Brothers Flynn
All right, with that out of the way, on to current events. One of the most interesting developments in recent months is the rise of General Charles Flynn. As I'm sure will come as no surprise to any of you who read this blog, Flynn is the younger brother of General Michael Flynn, the former head of the DIA under Obama and Trump's first National Security Advisor. Predictably, he's also a brother-at-arm to General Stanley McChrystal.
![]() |
General Charles Flynn |
The younger Flynn has arguably had a more interesting 2021 thus far than his older brother. Remember that "tense" phone call between Capitol Police and DC officials on the one hand, and the Pentagon on the other, on January 6th, amidst the rioting? Remember how the former allegedly asked for more National Guardsmen from the latter?
Well, it turns out Charlie Flynn was present for at least a portion of that chat. At the time, he was serving as the Army's Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations, Training, and Planning. That put him just underneath the Army's Chief of Stuff, the most senior uniformed military figure in the Department of the Army. A plush post to be sure, and one he had been entrenched at since June 2019.
The end of 2020 was certainly interesting for General Flynn as well. As his brother questioned the legitimacy of the 2020 election, Charlie Flynn was nominated for another star on November 30th, five days after his brother received a presidential pardon. The Senate confirmed that star on December 20th. This just happened to be the day after that faithful meeting at the White House in which Michael Flynn advocated martial law. It was reportedly shot down, but the protest for January 6th was announced during the immediate aftermath of the meeting.
![]() |
Michael Flynn |
Michael Flynn has of course been one of the most senior military figures to lend support to QAnon. And he gave a vaguely inflammatory speech on January 5th in Capital. So, it's certainly interesting, if hardly surprising, his brother was present during the request for National Guardsmen. The Pentagon initially denied Flynn's presence, but the general was eventually forced to acknowledge his role. The Washington Post was quick to assure it's readers Flynn's presence there was perfectly natural, all the while conceding he was out of the chain of command.
The Biden administration apparently found nothing improper about Flynn's actions either. Shortly after assuming office, Charlie found himself promoted to head of US Army Pacific Command. This will likely prove to be a choice posting. As was noted here recently, the Biden administration seems poised to take the pivot to China even further than his predecessor. His recently nominees have only continued to insist on a tougher line regarding China.
Hence, General Charles Flynn could find himself overseeing a command that will soon be seeing a great deal more action. Indeed, it may supersede CENTCOM as most choice command in the Army. It also indicates Flynn may be being groomed for one of the top slots in management. Is a vice-chairmanship or even a chairmanship in the works? Certainly the trajectory seems to fit. Not bad for a guy whose brother many believe is attempting to overthrow the Biden administration.
Before moving along, it's interesting to note the presence of veterans of the 82nd Airborne in the upper hierarchy of the national security establishment of late. This has been the case for nearly 15 years now. David Petraeus, McChrystal, Michael Flynn, General Keith Kellogg (a key national security advisor throughout Trump's tenure who, along with Flynn, was one of the few senior military officers to back Trump in 2016), and Lloyd Austin (Biden's Secretary of Defense) all held significant commands in the 82nd from the late 1970s through the early Naughts. I already noted before here that Austin had served under Kellogg when he headed the 82nd from 1996 till 1998. It turns out Petraeus was also on Kellogg's staff during that time as well. Austin and McChrystal likely served together in the 82nd during the late 1970s.
The Brothers Flynn both have deep ties to the 82nd. Michael Flynn was first commissioned as an officer with 82nd upon joining the military in 1981. He deployed with them to Grenada in 1983. Keith Kellogg's wife, also a paratrooper (and presumably a member of the 82nd) also deployed to Grenada, but not Kellogg himself. Reportedly, neither Flynn or Kellogg encountered one another despite both men having served multiple tours in the 82nd.
![]() |
Keith Kellogg |
Charles Flynn also served multiple tours in the 82nd, eventually becoming it's Deputy Commanding General during the Obama era. Charlie and McChrystal served at Fort Bragg together during the late 90s. As was noted above, Kellogg, Austin, and Petraeus were all serving with the 82nd (which is based out of Fort Bragg) during the mid-to-late 1990s. I've been unable to determine if this overlapped with the time Flynn and McChrystal were also stationed at Fort Bragg, but it would hardly be surprising. This whole network is extremely incestuous.
Charles Flynn and McChrystal were re-teamed again during Operation Enduring Freedom. Flynn was a part of the 82nd during the initial invasion of Afghanistan while McChrystal was the chief of staff for the XVIII Airborne Corps, which the 82nd is a part of. Michael Flynn surely served with McChrystal prior to their time in JSOC together as well. The Flynn and McChrystal families are very close, as Michael Hastings' The Operators emphasizes. It's likely the Flynns rubbed elbows with Austin at some point as well.
This again illustrates the extent to which Fort Bragg has come to dominate the national security apparatus since at least the Obama years. Besides housing the 82nd and the XVIII, it also garrisons the Joint Special Operations Command JSOC), Army Special Operations Command, the Army Forces Command, and the celebrated Army Special Forces, more commonly known as the "Green Berets." JSOC overseas most of the nation's special operations forces. The major component not tied to JSOC are the Green Berets, who are also based out of Fort Bragg. Elsewhere, the XVIII is arguably the most elite of the Army's conventional troops due to it's role as a rapid-response force. These troops have effectively been the Pentagon's spear tip for much of the twenty-first century, and now they're solidifying their hold on upper management.
It's a funny old world sometimes.
A New LARP?
Elsewhere, more reports continue to come out concerning the riots of January 6th and they further illustrate the hazy nature of the event. Brian Sicknick, the Capitol Police officer who allegedly died from injuries sustained during the rioting, was a veteran who had deployed to Afghanistan as well as a QAnon follower. Naturally, no one seems to know just how Sicknick died, just that it was a result of injuries suffered during the rioting. Originally, it was reported he was struck by a fire extinguisher. Now the argument is that he was killed by pepper spray, or something to that effect. One can only imagine where this drivel is going.
Two other Capitol police officers present at the rioting have also died, each from suicide. The rash of deaths among Capitol Police present at the riot will likely only continue. Certainly, there are a lot of questions, least of all why law enforcement appeared to deliberately stand down for rioters. Explanations have been floated about an absence of manpower. But why was there a lack of manpower in the first place? There was clearly a major push leading up to the riots to make them into a major event.
![]() |
a police officer allegedly taking a selfie with the rioters |
One of the players in the Jan 6th riots were the Proud Boys, a senior member of whom was recently revealed to be an FBI informant. Another group present were the Oath Keepers, who are wholly comprised of current or former military and law enforcement personnel. Several Oath Keepers were present for the riots, one of whom alleged to be in contact with the Secret Service shortly before the riots began. Supposedly, this was provide "security" to lawmakers.
And of course, there's the anti Trump "activist" present at the riots and later arrested. This, along with the recent Proud Boys revelation, has been red meat for the conspiratorial right and their false flag narratives. But things are a little more complicated than that. Said activist, one John Sullivan, is a resident of Utah, a state long at the heart of the military-industrial complex and with a legacy of many strange experiments.
And that brings up another bizarre development in the QAnon saga. With the movement in disarray at present, some even more cultic players are stepping in to fill the void. A few are operating under the banners of Shawunawaz and Sabmyk. Shawunawaz is a mythological sword awarded to Persian Princess Ameli Achaemenes by George Soros in 1992. The benevolent Achaemenes destroyed it before it could do further harm, however.
Elsewhere, Sabmyk is the preordained ruler of the world. He came into being on December 21, 2020. Yes, the date that witnessed the Great Conjunction. How exactly Sabmyk relates to the Sword of Schwunawaz, I'm not entirely clear on. And frankly, I don't really care. Obviously, whoever is running this op/ARG is taking their DMing a little too seriously.
![]() |
the "Owl Cave symbol" from Twin Peaks |
All right, I can't resist. There is some overlap between the above symbol of the Sabmyk folks an the one found in Owl Creek initially during the second season of Twin Peaks. It's later revealed that this symbol is crucial to opening a portal to the Black Lodge in Owl Cave. And the portal can only be opened.... during a Great Conjunction. Har har.
Closing Thoughts
During the first decade of the Global War on Terror, there was an increasing divide between the entrenched military hierarchy at the Pentagon and the Bush II administration. Many of the generals during that era had entered the military either during, or shortly after, the Vietnam era. Hence, they implicitly remembered the unpopularity the military suffered by the 1970s and were determined to prevent it from reach that nadir again. As such, the upper brass tended to be weary of anything that could damage the military's image.
This mindset frequently clashed with the more aggressive foreign policy sought by Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, and many of the leading neo-cons surrounding the administration. This made Young Turks like David Petraeus and Stanley McChrystal, as well as the broader Fort Bragg/special forces culture that had produced them, all the more appealing in their eyes. Both commanders were brash and aggressive. Under their charge, torture and targeted killings proliferated in Iraq. The media hyped this up into a major success, paving the way for Petraeus to enter into the Washington bureaucracy and McChrystal to be tapped to lead the surge in Afghanistan.

David Patraeus |
While Petraeus was a Republican, McChrystal, the Flynns, and many of other officers surrounding them were Democrats. Despite this, McChrystal and company got on famously with the Bush inner circle. As Hastings reports in The Operators, McChrystal at times reported directly to Cheney.
Things did not go as smoothly under Obama. Officers like McChrystal who had enjoyed free reign during the Bush II years suddenly found civilian intervention to be a major concern. Entrenched politicians like Joe Biden even publically questioned the policies being put forward by men like McChrystal. This ruffled some feathers and it ended with McChrystal, Patraeus, and Michael Flynn being drummed out of government in disgrace.
At the onset of the Obama administration, these men had been considered among the finest military minds of their generation. They were poised to become entrenched figures in the national security apparatus. That all changed with Obama.
![]() |
Stanley McChrystal |
2016 found Flynn firmly in the Trump camp while McChrystal and Patraeus largely sat on the fence. The military achieved great gains under Trump, especially for JSOC (noted here). But I suspect Trump fell out of favor, much like Obama before him, because of his reluctance to use military force and because of the (perceived) undo influence civilians (most likely members of the president's family) had on military policy.
As such, figures like McChrystal and Patraeus drifted into the anti-Trump camp while Flynn kicked QAnon into high gear. The latter created a tailor made insurgency, and one that seems to have genuinely unsettled policymakers. While it's fashionable to perceive Michael Flynn as a buffoon nowadays, a little less than a decade ago he was considered one of the most brilliant intelligence officers of his generation, the man who had crafted a deadly effective global Phoenix program for the War on Terror. Was January 6th the best such a figure could muster?
I seriously doubt that, and most likely, so to does Biden, and any number of other officials. And do any of these people want to see what a serious, Phoenix style operation would look like domestically? I seriously doubt that either. Hence the reason Charlie Flynn's career is back on the fast track.
Which brings us back to my question about civilian government in 2021. Obama and Trump attempted to restore some vestige of civilian control at different points in their respective administrations and faced serious pushback from elements of the military. And now comes along Biden, who may well have barely avoided a military coup before he was even inaugurated. To say that he is on shaky ground is probably an understatement.
Biden has a military hierarchy, especially those centered around Fort Bragg, that holds him in contempt while vast segments of the populace consider him to be an illegitimate president. And Michael Flynn, a key cog in that Fort Bragg hierarchy, has spent that last four years setting up a diehard contingent within that segment of the America populace. Biden will have to toe a very fine line to appease those Prussian elements, or else they will likely make the country ungovernable for him.
By now, I'm sure many of you have heard about the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC)'s rune. For those unaware: This annual event, a rallying point for the Republican party, unfolded between February 25 and 28th in 2021. CPAC normalyl finds a way to generate some minor controversey, but this year was special. This particular conference will be remembered for the stage, which appeared to be in the shape of an odal rune.
The meaning of this rune is a matter of some dispute, but it's generally associated with nobility, lineage, and inheritance. As such, it has been used in a rather predictable fashion in modern times. The odal rune was appropriated by Nazi Germany, specifically the SS, as an emblem. More recent fascist and Nazi groups, such as South Africa's White Liberation Movement and Italy's National Vanguard, have also employed this particular rune.
Some have described the odal rune at CPAC as inverted. This is a fair enough assessment. Typically, the "wings" or "feet" of the rune are placed at the bottom. In the case of the CPAC stage, they're at the top. So, if this rune is typically associated with nobility (including noble bloodlines), are these Republican kingmakers signaling that they're not up to the task?
Maybe, but I suspect that the symbol on the stage has more the one meaning. In some circles, it's in odal rune. But to me, in the inverted form, it looks suspiciously like the Owl Cave symbol from Twin Peaks. Of course, the Owl Cave symbol appears in a variety of guises in Peaks, occasionally with wings downward like a conventional odal rune. But as Owl Cave symbol is also closely associated with owls, the wings are more often than not upward. Just like the one at CPAC.
The first time the Owl Cave symbols appears is towards the end of the second season. Within Owl Cave, it appears on a devise that reveals a map to the Black Lodge. It's later revealed that the Black Lodge can only be entered during a conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn, i.e. a Great Conjunction.

the symbol as it appears in Owl Cave |
All of this is interesting in light of developments with in the QAnon ARG that I recently addressed here. To recap: There seems to be a full blown effort afoot to take QAnon deep into Theosophical waters with the recent Shawunawaz and Sabmyk LARP.
Shawunawaz is a mythological sword originally crafted by the Orion Kings of Atlantis. Over the years, the sword was wielded by an hero worth his or her salt --Gilgamesh, Achilles, Alexander, Spartacus, and even Napoleon. In more recent years, the sword was returned to it's rightful owner, the Persian Princess Ameli Achaemenes, by none other than George Soros. Princess Ameli destroyed the sword so that it's power could no longer be abused, but it appears to have returned to us in these trying times. Or possibly Princess Ameli can transform herself into the sword of Shawunawaz. I'm not entirely clear on that point dear reader.

2 to 1 Princess Ameli is a man.... |
Anyway, the sword has returned, in some form or other, so that it can be wielded by an entity known as "Sabmyk," the "preordained ruler of the world." This being came into existence on December 21, 2020 --which just happened to be a Great Conjunction --or began the process of assuming his kingship. Again, it's not entirely clear (like much of this mythos).
Sabmyk also has a symbol with shades of the Owl Creek thing, and is closely associated with 12, the number of trees in the Glastonbury Grove, where the Owl Cave symbol leads too, and where the Black Lodge can be accessed during the conjunction.

Sabmyk is also said to have 12 generals under his command |

"Then it started to get weird...."
In many ways, it was inevitable that QAnon would end up with their own version of the Maitreya. People connected to it like Thomas Schoenberger and JZ Knight have been pimping the Ascended Masters claptrap for years now. Sooner or later, they would need their World King, right?
Really, this is par the course for Theosophy and it's derivatives. We touched on this a bit in a Farm episode this past summer, but it bears repeating here: One of the defining legacies of Theosophy in the twentieth century was the "inspiration" it provided to authoritarian political movements of various stripes --Bolshevism, Nazism, synarchy, and even the Moral Re-Armament movement (which helped mold so much of today's Christian right) were all touched by it, especially the Ascended Masters teachings.
This is not entirely surprising, given that Theosophy worshipped hierarchy every bit as much as the Traditionalists (who were themselves heavily indebted to it). Of course, Theosophists and their ilk hide behind phrases like "spiritual hierarchy," and insist that anyone can pass through the grades with the proper spiritual development. And naturally, this spiritual development is generally only available through expensive courses that only affluent white people can afford.
And that brings us to another of Theosophy's offspring: the New Age movement. Surely the New Age movement, with it's crystals, veganism, and Space Brothers (more on in a moment) has transcended this authoritarian impulse, right?
But what about the gurus?
New Age sects have a disturbing tendency to deteriorate into cults of personality around a charismatic "teacher." NXIVM (which grew out of the closely related "Human Potential movement") is an industrial strength example, but a host of New Age figures from Werner Erhard to Carlos Castaneda have engaged in some very dubious behavior in regards to their followers.

Erhard (top) and Castaneda (bottom) |
With Theosophy's DNA spread so widely now throughout a host of fringe right and left wing groups, it should come as little surprise that authoritarian movements, be they QAnon or "Cancel Culture," are so pervasive. The timing is especially noteworthy: Bolshevism and Fascism both had their coming out parties around the 1919/1920 timeframe. This paved the way for two decade dominated by dictatorships. A hundred years later, and it looks like the stage is set once again.
The earlier project came to a crashing halt in 1945. But if Christopher Knowles is correct (as he normally is), the project got jumpstarted again in 1947 via a novel means: technology, or maybe more accurately, "Lucifer's Technologies." A major outgrowth of the postwar technological boom was the PC and the Internet. And neither QAnon nor Cancel Culture would be possible without either of those things. Indeed, the authoritarianism of the twenty-first century is wholly derived from Lucifer's Technologies.
There's another component, however, that is not often talked about: postmodernism. Postmodernism first began to gain traction in academia during the 1980s. By 2004, it arguably became the dominate paradigm in the West, not just within academia, but also among the managerial class groomed by academia. For more on this transformation, see Bradley Bowden's Work, Wealth, and Postmodernism. And as I recently discussed with the great Edmund Berger, postmodernism has an authoritarian bent as well, and schizophrenic one to boot.
The end result of this is a ruling elite who, on the one hand, believes godhood via their technologies is imminent, and, on the other, believes that there is no longer any objective truth or meaning. Hence the reverence for science, which can no longer even adhere to the scientific method. To say that this will not end well is an understatement.
But as Knowles suggests, that's probably the point. Another thing about the rise of postmodernism is that it's the perfect paradigm for high strangeness. In modernism, a UFO is either a nuts-and-bolts spacecraft from Zeta Reticula, swamp gas, or a delusion. In postmodernism, it can be all of these things, as well as an inter-dimensional AI, a demon/angel, a time travelers, and a host of other possibilities, all simultaneously. The same is true of the supernatural, esp, and anything else that falls under high strangeness. Postmodernism is at least capable of providing a more satisfactory explanation for these things than it's predecessor ever could. And it seems at least as adapt at generating authoritarian political currents.
![]() |
Nick Land is very much a product of postmodernism |
Fittingly,. Twin Peaks is perhaps the one fictional work they really got high strangeness right. It captured the nonsensical aspect of it like no other. And make no mistake about it: Nonsense is a crucial aspect of all of this. Both postmodernism and high strangeness thrive off of it.
To return to Knowles, who has been hitting it out of the park lately: In another recent post, he suggests that the bizarre behavior often demonstrated by events of high strangeness maybe a form of "depatterning." Effectively, its a means of reorienting human perception, by assaulting our drive to find meaning and structure in things.
"Incidentally," this is also a major preoccupation of postmodernism as well. Indeed, one of it's most celebrated offshoots is known as "Post-structuralism," which is basically an attempt to reject all forms of structure. With this paradigm now dominating intellectual currents throughout the West, the absurdity and surrealism of demonstrations in the twenty-first century makes a lot more sense. But is there something even more nefarious at play?
This embrace of postmodernism on a societal wide level is doing far more to reorient human perception than random encounters with high strangeness by lone individuals or small groups ever could. To this researcher, it comes off as a form of societal wide conditioning. The public is being primed for a whole new way of thinking.
All right, the house keeping. We're past the 16th of the month, which means there's a new episode up in The Farm's subscribers' section. Joining me for this installment is the legendary parapolitical researcher Douglas Valentine. He is the author of The Phoenix Program: America's Use of Terror in Vietnam, The Strength of the Wolf: The Secret History of America's War on Drugs, The Strength of the Pack: The Personalities, Politics, and Espionage Intrigues that Shaped the DEA, and most recently The CIA as Organized Crime: How Illegal Operations Corrupt America and the World.
In this one on one discussion Douglas and I explore the legacy of Federal Bureau of Narcotics (FBN) agent Garland Williams. While long overshadowed by the legendary George Hunter White (he of Operation Midnight Climax infamy), Williams is the FBN agent to exert the most profound influence on the American national security state. We explore how Williams helped create the Army's famed Counterintelligence Corp and, later, the Office of Strategic Services (OSS). In the process, he laid the foundation for much of the modern day national security state. During the postwar years, he remained active, playing a crucial role in re-launching the international drug trade. Finally, we get into the potential role Williams played in either Projects ARTICHOKE or MK-ULTRA.
To wrap up, I have Douglas reflect on the little remarked upon role the Phoenix Program had on the international drug trade. Valentine expands on this, and brings things back home with an overview how this legacy is still playing out. All in all, an insightful chat with one of the greatest parapolitical researchers of them all.
Douglas Valentine is the latest edition in a collection that already includes interviews from the likes of Richard B. Spence, Christopher Knowles, Adam Gorightly, Greg Bishop, Walter Bosley, J. Michael "Doc Future" Bennett, Neil Sanders, and David Metcalfe. Diana Walsh-Pasulka will soon be joining the cast.
Elsewhere...
It's no secret that the past four years were hard on the left for any number of reasons. But many preferred to latch onto the "colorful" persona of former President Donald Trump as the greatest ill facing the nation. How many times did he embarrass the country before the podium, or really, in any public appearance? Praise be given that Joe Biden is hard at work restoring "dignity" to the office of the presidency:
This is but one of several recent gaffes for Biden. And that's when Biden has actually appeared in public. His handlers appear to be doing everything to limit his visibility. Most notably, he's yet to deliver a State of the Union address. Biden waited 64 days to even book a press conference since taking office, the longest gap in a century. It's not just the press or the American public with limited access to Biden either. Vice-president Kamala Harris has been visibly conducting foreign policy since taking office. And then there's this video, which potentially exposes Biden in front of a green screen:
The above video should certainly be taken with a heaping grain of salt. But given Biden's struggles to even board an airplane, a little stagecraft can't be discounted. And keep in mind folks, we're just a little over two months into the Biden presidency. Whether the Biden presidency will even make it past 2021 before conceding to the Harris presidency is highly debatable at this point. This is just one of many crisis the Democrats will be faced with in near future.
One currently blowing up goes by the name of Andrew Cuomo. Remember how roughly a year ago this guy was being bantered about as a possible replacement for Biden? And on the strength of his COVID response no less.
What a difference a year makes.
After months of rumblings that nursing home-related COVID deaths were being covered-up in New York state, the dam finally broke early this year. It's now coming out that Cuomo and senior staff have been involved in covering up said deaths for months now. What's more, this cover-up was largely driven by political considerations: Trump's FBI may have investigated Cuomo and tarnished his image as the COVID response king. Instead, he'll be investigated by Biden's FBI.
![]() |
Cuomo |
Presently, Cuomo's COVID response is the least of his concerns. In December 2020, the first complaint of sexual harassment was lobbed at the New York governor. However, since the end of February, over half a dozen women have come forward. Naturally, the floodgates opened shortly after the FBI investigation into nursing home allegations was announced.
The sexual harassment allegations against Cuomo are highly plausible. This is a man who shows up in Epstein's black book after all. But in politics, timing is everything. And in this case, Cuomo's litany of personal misdeeds is far less damaging than his COVID response with the Democratic Party gearing up for the Great Vaccination Putsch of 2021. As such, any perception of mismanagement on behalf of the Democratic COVID response is especially problematic. Hence, cancel cultures has ben unleashed on Cuomo in a bid to drive him from the governor's mansion before the nursing home deaths investigation really ramps up.
All signs point towards the vaccination efforts being a disaster of epic proportions. Multiple European countries have suspended the Oxford-AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine over concerns that it led to blood clots in certain cases. The usual suspects were quick to insist these concerns were overblown. Just as they insisted there was nothing amiss with New York state's COVID response among their nursing homes last year. As with all things, time will tell.
Your Cyberwar Update
March has already seen a lot of action on this front. At the beginning of the month, the 2021 Microsoft Exchange Server data breach was revealed to the public. Some experts have already warned that this incident could be more destructive than the SolarWinds hack. Whether this is more hyperbole or not remains to be seen, but it is certainly significant. In keeping with the new direction in US foreign policy, the latest attacks have been pinned on China.
Days later, a massive fire broke out at a data server in France. The server, OVH, is the largest in Europe and the third largest in the world. This raises a lot of possibilities for the fire. For one, the world's other largest cloud providers --Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Corp’s Azure, and Alphabet Inc's Google Cloud --are all owned by American tech giants. Further, OVH had continued hosting Wikileaks after it was dropped by Amazon more than a decade ago. This led British intelligence to monitor the company's CEO.
I've been unable to determine if OVH still hosts WikiLeaks, but regardless, payback could still be in play even if the company served ties. In that regard, it's interesting that the fire occurred a little over a month and a half after a Democrat re-entered the White House. As I'm sure many of you are aware, the Democratic Party and their 2016 candidate have long insisted WikiLeaks was instrumental in their loss of the presidential election that year.
There may have been a more practical reason for the hack than mere revenge, however. The OVH datacenter housed 140 servers used by government-sponsored hacker groups and criminal syndicates, 36% of which were knocked out by the fire. At the forefront of groups affected were Charming Kitten and APT39, two of Iran's leading cyberwarfare groups. This comes at a time when tensions between Iran and Israel remain high. Certainly knocking out a portion of Iran's cyberwar capabilities would be a sound opening salvo in a hybrid war.
And so the world turns dear readers. With that I shall sign off for now. As always, thank you so much for reading and listening.
Yes folks, it is now time to revisit this classic series. I initially wrapped it up all the way back in 2013, which seems like a lifetime ago. As the title implies, the series chronicles the history of the dread World Anti-Communist League (WACL). During the height of the Cold War, WACL was very much the visible personification of the Fascist International. It had it's origins in the Anti-Bolshevik Bloc of Nations (ABN) and the Asian People's Anti-Communist League (APACL). These outfits had their roots in Nazi Germany and the narco-state of Taiwan, respectively. This lineage was discussed in the first installment of this series.
Drug trafficking has always been a major component of WACL. Many of the early works on it, such as the Andersons' Inside the League, neglected this aspect. The great Peter Dale Scott touched on it in various works, but it had never been subjected to an extensive examination, as best I could tell. Hence, much of parts two and three are pre-occupied with outing WACL's links to the international drug trade.
Part three also delves extensively into the mysterious Mexican secret society known as Los Tecos. In many ways, it was Mexico's answer to Propaganda Due (P2), effectively controlling the Mexican security services on behalf of the United States. As far as I'm aware, this is the longest English-language account of Los Tecos since the publication of Inside the League in 1986. Frankly, I wish I didn't have that distinction. Los Tecos is an important and highly neglected subject, one that really deserves a researcher who can read Spanish.

Carlos Cuesta Gallardo, a WWII-era Nazi collaborator and longtime Tecos head |
For what was the last installment, I delved into the hardest topic involving WACL: the genocide it helped perpetuate across Latin America and other parts of the developing world during the final decades of the Cold War. By the 1980s, virtually every nation blessed with a WACL chapter had developed it's own "freedom fighters," anti-Communist militias. The phrase "dirty war" was coined to described the methods embraced by these WACL-backed regimes.
While the operations of WACL proper wound down decades ago, it's legacy is still with us. Consider WACL's chairman during its absolute 1980s pinnacle, Major General John Singlaub. Singlaub was a special forces legend who deployed with the Jedburg teams during WWII, and later helped manage the Phoenix Program during Vietnam. Singlaub's contributions to special operations forces are succh that the US Army Special Operations Command began handing an award named after Singlaub in 2013. Yeah, the same year I finished writing this series chronicling the genocidal legacy of WACL, one of the principal '80s architects got his own award named after him from the US Army. So it goes.
![]() |
Singlaub |
Nor is the US Army the only outfit naming awards after Singlaub these days. Phyllis Schlafly's Eagle Forum followed suite in 2018 when it announced the inaugural Singlaub Award. The first recipient? Why, General Michael T. Flynn, the former head of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) and Trump's inaugural National Security Adviser. He's also been a leading figure behind the QAnon LARP. Singlaub had to be pleased. He would latter beg Attorney General William Barr to address the "miscarriage of justice" against Flynn during early 2020.
![]() |
Flynn |
In a way, it was inevitable. Singlaub is set to turn 100 this July, further confirming that the truly evil never die young. But sooner or later (and probably sooner), Singlaub must shed his mortal coil. When that happens, it will truly be the end of an era. Singlaub is the last of the OSS "China Cowboys," a curious clique that included other storied figures such Ray S. Cline, Lucien Conein, Mitchell WerBell III, and E. Howard Hunt (noted here). Many of the old China cowboys would play instrumental roles in WACL, as well as the international drug trade and various death squads the world over. They turn up in the Phoenix Program and later Iran-Contra. Their modus operandi largely revolved around using narco-financed anti-Communist militias to terrorize the peoples of developing nations.
It was a bloody business to be sure, but one that was necessary to the objectives of the American Empire. Unfortunately for men like Singlaub, the generation of CIA officers that came of age after the Cold War just weren't up to snuff. Relics like Singlaub were necessary to continue filling the gap. That is, until the rise of the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC). Men like Flynn, his longtime boss General Stanley McChrystal, and General William Boykin, had not only the will to revive the Phoenix Program, but to implement it on a truly international scale for the Global War on Terror. This topic was discussed at length in my debut work, Strange Tales of the Parapolitical: Postwar Nazis, Mercenaries, and Other Secret History.
![]() |
McChrystal (top) and Boykin (bottom) |
Flynn and company seem well on their way to reviving the private networks so favored by Singlaub and earlier generations as well. But instead of using a litany of anti-Communist networks, these young guns prefer to work through a host of interlocking private military and intelligence companies. In this sense, the SCL Group and the host of companies surrounding it (including Cambridge Analytica) provide us with a vision of how a twenty-first century version of WACL operates. This sleek, corporate version, centered around the boardrooms of London and NYC, is a far cry from the aging Nazis and their charges deep in the jungles of South America. But it is no less lethal.
***
Of course, I didn't opt for a new WACL post just to ruminate on the passing of the baton from Singlaub to Flynn. If you've been following my podcast, The Farm, then you probably have some inclination as to what this post is about. Beginning last summer, I embarked upon what was always going to be an ambitious project: a full-blown podcast miniseries chronicling the history of WACL.
It seemed like a great idea for a variety of reasons: thanks to Kyle Burke's Revolutionaries for the Right and the Biden/Ukraine flap, interest in WACL is arguably as high as it's been since the early 1990s. And now, almost 30 years removed from the end of the Cold War, and with most of the leading figures having shed their mortal coils, lips are becoming looser and documents more plentiful. What it amounts to is that there is a far clearer picture of WACL available now in the historic records than in any previous era. And with rising tensions between the American Empire and China, and the corresponding attention the US will lavish on it's old WACL partners in Asia, this state of affairs may not last for long. Thus, it's crucial to document this important history while it's still possible.
The miniseries was conceived of as running roughly 4-5 episodes, and clocking in around 10 hours. As with all projects I embark upon, this proved to be insanely optimistic. The final product will be eight full length episodes and two appendixes (thus far). And it probably goes without saying, but it consists of well over 20 hours of material, a good chunk of it wholly original research that has never been made available to the public before.
This was due to the incredible group of researchers who took this journey with me: my research partner Keith Allen Dennis, We've Read the Documents' John Brisson, Unification Church defector "Don Diligent," and Ukrainian specialist Moss Robeson. Combined, these guys brought a wealth of material to the table, which enabled us to fill in some of the crucial historical gaps. But of course, I still did a lot of the heavy lifting for Los Tecos episode, though Keith did his part to set the table.
One of the striking things about this endeavor, as opposed to the earlier WACL series I wrote for this blog, is how much better of a researcher I've become. This is largely due to Mr. Dennis. For the original WACL series, I was relying on the account of the Tecos presented in Inside the League, which in turn was largely based upon a report by Stefan Possony for the US chapter of WACL. This time around, I had a copy of Possony's actual report, along with everything he had on the Tecos from his papers at Hoover. But there'll be plenty of time for self-reflection in a moment. For now, the WACL series:
Here I'm joined by Moss Robeson to discuss the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (Bandera) (OUN-B), a WWII-era fascist organization. For decades, it was the driving force behind the Anti-Bolshevik Bloc of Nations (ABN). Several of the other Quisling outfits that comprised the ABN are also discussed, as well as it's links to Nazi Germany, the KGB and a host of other intrigues.
Here Moss returns, along with Keith Allen Dennis. Much of the discussion here is centered around the old (and new) China Lobby. We address the brutal history of the former narco-state of Taiwan; it's epic connection to the international drug trade; the Cooke-Pawley Expedition; the OSS "China Cowboys"; and the Fabulous MacArthur Boys. We also touch on the ABN again and the Captive Nations.
You can't discuss the World Anti-Communist League without discussing the Unification Church. So, this is our epic Moonies episode. Naturally, our resident ex-Moonie Don Diligent was with us for this one, along with John Brisson, Keith and myself. This is one of the most complete accounts of the early history of the Unification Church one is likely to find. With this episode and the prior, we fleshed out the early history of the Asian People's Anti-Communist League (APACL).
Having fleshed out the two principal bodies behind WACL (the ABN and APACL) during the prior three episodes, we now turn our attention to WACL's founding. We begin with the infamous and semi-legendary 1958 Mexico City meeting, which marked the first attempt to launch WACL. It failed and the enterprise would not get off the ground until 1966. There were multiple attempts to sabotage WACL, with the Kennedy administration being a major thorn in the proverbial side. Keith takes center stage in this one as he lays out this pivotal moment in WACL's history. Myself, Moss, and Don are also present for this one.
This is my personal favorite, though I'm biased. It's just myself and Keith for this one. While nominally centered around Los Tecos, we delve deeply into the occulted history of Mexico. We consider the struggle between Freemasonry, the Vatican, and various populist movements for control of Mexico during the early twentieth century and its aftermath: the brutal dirty war that destabilized Mexico for nearly two decades. Los Tecos was born in the midst of the former struggle and was at the heart of the latter.
With this installment, Keith, Don, and myself close out the 1970s. This was a "colorful" decade for WACL, climaxing in Bolivia's "Cocaine Coup" of 1980. Here we really dig into the Nazi legacy in South America, Operation Condor, and the dirty wars in Chile and Argentina.
Finally, we arrive at the 1980s, the absolute pinnacle of WACL. Parts seven and eight are effectively a two-parter with the entire cast on hand: Keith, Moss, Don, John, and myself are all present and accounted for. In this one, we consider the rise of the "New Right" and Reaganism in the 1980s as well William F. Buckley's not inconsiderate contributions to either. We also catch up on the Captive Nations, OUN-B, and, inevitably, Iran-Contra.
For the final installment we delve into the "Golden Lily" one final time, the Christic Institute, their "secret tram" allegations, and one of the most bizarre lawsuits of the latter stages of the Cold War. Brisson also dives into one of his favorite subjects, the Council for National Policy (CNP) and their links to WACL. Finally, I open up the floor for Moss, Don, John, and Keith to provide their reflections on WACL and this series.
There are also (thus far) two Appendixes to the series, both them dealing with the OUN-B:
This one is with Moss Robeson and myself. Here we discuss the continuation of the OUN-B as a kind of quasi-secret society in modern times. We also delve into how this factors into the Biden-Ukraine connections.
A follow up to the prior podcast, this time with John Brisson joining Moss and I. Here, we delve even deeper into the Biden-Ukraine connections.
***
And now it's time for something I don't normally do: Reflect on this blog. But in this case, it seems so fitting as both the series and subject of it have meant so much to me. So, here are a few thoughts:
WACL is by far the hardest subject I've written about. This may surprise those of you who are long time readers. Over the course of my ten plus years blogging, I've covered a lot of dark subjects: Esoteric Nazism, child sex rings, and state-sanctioned human experimentation are re-occurring themes here. Outfits like the American Security Council (ASC) and Le Cercle have similar legacies of death squads, drugs/arms trafficking, and pedophilia. And of course, my second book traced the origins of Epstein's ring. So yeah, after doing this for over a decade, I am well familiar with the terrible things human beings are capable of and then some.
But that doesn't make dealing with WACL any easier. It was all the things groups like the ASC and Le Cercle were, but on steroids. This was likely out of necessity. The core of the ASC and Le Cercle oversaw the strategy of tension in North America and Western Europe respectively, where a little black terror went a long way.
Things were different in the developing world. There, legions of "former" Nazis and their Quislings, along with US and UK intelligence veterans, crafted their own private fiefdoms away from the prying eyes of human rights advocates. The gloves were firmly off and places like Colonia Dignidad embraced this freedom with "vigor." The Colony had a mass grave for it's victims, and it is not alone. WACL was the vehicle for a host unreconstructed Nazis and their sympathizers to live out their fantasies of making 120 Days of Sodom a reality in the developing world. And this was done largely with the tactical and financial support of the American Empire.
To describe this as a national scandal is an understatement. It is completely and utterly sickening and morally reprehensible. It is a stain on the soul of this nation and a major factor that has led us to the administrations of Trump and Biden.
And it is a stain upon my soul as well. Upon completing this series in October 2013, I was done with WACL. I never wanted to revisit it again. But WACL was not done with me. I would write about it again with my first book, and revisit it yet again with the current series up for discussion.
In the intern, something truly bittersweet happened: WACL helped establish VISUP as a serious parapolitical blog in a big way. To date, the final installment in the original WACL series is my most widely viewed post, with 23.5k views over nearly eight years. It truly marked a turning point when I found my "voice" as a researcher.
But beyond that, it had a totally unforeseen consequence: bringing many of the people who have subsequently become my closest friends into my life. Keith Allen Dennis first contacted me in 2016, informing me that a thesis paper he was working on was inspired by my WACL series. Much of the documentation we have for the podcast series came from Keith's time at Hoover researching that thesis. It was the first of what has subsequently become many communications. First, a few emails a year, now we're in almost daily contact with one another.
Don came into my life some two years later, also partly because of the WACL series. We've also developed a friendship. I collected Brisson in 2019 and Moss in 2020, both due in part to the WACL series as well. And their have been others along the way, most notably "Scully" and "Annie Wilkes," who became two of my dearest friends.
Suffice to say, this was the last thing I ever expected to come from this series when I started it all those years ago. And with that, I shall sign off, because frankly there are not words to describe what these people mean to me and how much better my life is because of them. Thank you all so much.
Hat Tip: "Larry," Denim, S90
It's the first of the month once again, which means it's time for a new subscriber's show for The Farm's patrons section. My guest this time round is Diana Walsh-Pasulka. She is a writer and professor of religious studies at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. She has co-edited the anthologies Posthumanism: The Future of Homo Sapiens and Believing in Bits: Digital Media and the Supernatural as well as being the author of Heaven Can Wait: Purgatory in Catholic Devotional and Popular Culture and American Cosmic: UFOs, Religion, Technology.
This is a wide reaching conversation largely exploring the rise of the postmodern paradigm. Through this prism, we explore a host of topics: Videodrome, In the Mouth of Madness, and the science fiction reality we find ourselves living in; the strange, nonsensical behavior reported by contactees as a form of depatterning; how the rise of channeled communications coincided with the technological revolution in the West; synchronicity as a form of depatterning; Randonautica; and even the Mandela effect.
We also consider the possibility that there is something genetic about families with multiple "Experiencers." From there, we delve into whether personality profiles have been applied to Experiencers, and the rather disturbing implications of this in a post-Cambridge Analytica world. On the topic of disturbing implications, we address whether a "meta-narrative" involving the UFO phenomena will be rolled out by the military during the next year.
To close out, I have Diana cover one of the more curious aspects of the famed SRI remote viewing experiments: the influence of the French Jesuit anthropologist Pierre Teilhard de Chardin. Further, this also involved SRI's Augmentation Research Center, the same one that played such a crucial role in launching the modern PC revolution. It's a fascinating, and fitting, note to wrap up on.

Diana is the latest in a ever growing collection of guests on The Farm's patron section. Others include Christopher Knowles, Richard B. Spence, Douglas Valentine, Greg Bishop, Adam Gorightly, Walter Bosley, J. Michael "Doc Future" Bennett, Neil Sanders, and David Metcalfe. Next up is "The Secret History of 1980s Counterculture." It's going to be awesome.
UFOs
We might as well talk some UFOs with this one as there are no shortage of headlines and sound bites making the rounds of late. Just this past week, Senator Mario Rubio paused at Reagan National Airport to discuss the matter with TMZ. It was probably a sound move by Rubio, who has all the charisma of a paper bag. Merely mentioning UFOs gives him the finest sound bite of his political career. But you know it's the end of something when encountering headlines like: "SENATOR MARCO RUBIO: LET'S I.D. THE UFO'S FLYING OVER MILITARY BASES ..." and they're not being taken from The Onion.

Disclosure is in the air again, as it is every few years. It's supposed to be different this time because of the provisions placed in a Trump-era COVID relief bill. But it's all supposed to be different. And then, it's more of the same old crap.
But there is one compelling circumstance this time around, and it has nothing to do with COVID, Cold War 2.0, or pending economic collapse. Rather, it has to do with the UFO racket teetering on the verge of collapse due to a recent lawsuit.
It's goes by the name of Kiviat vs Marriott. The saga is every bit as strange as one may imagine. Many of the usual suspects are present. They include: Hal Puthoff, who co-directed the famed SRI remote viewing program and later helped found To the Stars Academy (TTSA) with Blink 182's Tom Delonge; Silicon Valley entrepreneur and longtime Ufology sugar daddy Joe Firmage; former Utah state congressman Daniel Marriott, also a member of the hospitality dynasty; Utah real estate mogul and current Skinwalker owner Brandon Fugal; and former CIA Deputy-Director, Division of Science and Technology honcho Ron Pandolfi.
Pandolfi is a crucial figure in this racket. Reportedly, he ran the CIA's "Weird Desk," which was tasked with UFOs and other strange doings. Pandolfi is a part of "The Aviary," an informal network of mostly former spooks that have been gaming the Ufology field for decades.
![]() |
possibly Pandolfi |
As for Kiviat vs Marriot, the story goes something like this: At some point in the '90s, Hal Puthoff acquired a strange gyroscopic devise from Russia that was (allegedly) capable of producing anti-gravity energy. Naturally, it was claimed to be reverse-engineered extraterrestrial technology. At some point, Firmage acquired this wonderful toy and brought Pandolfi on as his "scientific adviser." Eventually, this all led to a company called the International Academy of Science and Arts, or InterNASA for short. Pandolfi assembled a CIA team of "physicists, engineers, and mathematicians" to examine the devise. Financial backing came from Dan Marriott, and possibly Fugal.
Enter Robert Kiviat, a TV producer best known for the Alien Autopsy "specials." Kiviat went to work at InterNASA for nearly a year handling "Communications, Public Relations, and Studio projects" for the company. All Kiviat saw for his efforts was five grand, considerably less than what he signed up for.

Kiviat |
While Kiviat's lawsuit was launched nominally to recoup his pay, it had a another purpose: to expose this group of hucksters. Specifically, it would have forced Pandolfi to go on record concerning his claims of continual intelligence support. These claims would have in turn been submitted to the inspector generals for the CIA and DIA. Needless to say, the results of those inquiries could have caused a considerable amount of trouble for Pandolfi and company. Most likely, they would have revealed that Pandolfi was using his status as a former senior CIA officer to bilk gullible investors for these fantastic technologies.
A key early figure in all of this, Hal Puthoff, is a co-founder of TTSA, a major force behind the current Disclosure push. Interestingly, many of the heavy hitters in TTSA such as Christopher Mellon, Luis Elizondo, and Steve Justice recently departed this past December. Beyond this, TTSA is also rebranding itself as an "entertainment company," and largely abandoning it's research into science and technology in the process.
Gee, could that be due to the fact that the gyroscopic devise Puthoff pawned off to Firmage is hardly the only piece of dubious tech he's backed over the years? Like Pandolfi, Puthoff is another Aviary huckster who's been working behind the scene for decades now. These men have made impressive livelihoods for themselves off of using their intelligence credentials to rope in people with too much money and too little common sense.

Puthoff |
But what about men like Firmage, Marriott, and Fugal? These men already had fortunes well before entering the UFO field. Surely there are easier ways for them to expand these fortunes than the otherworldly confidence games men like Pandolfi and Puthoff specialize in.
This is where the strange beliefs of the elites come in to play. Want to know something interesting that Firmage, Marriot, and Fugal all have in common? Besides the UFO racket? The Church of Latter Day Saints (LDS).
Yes, all of these men are Mormon. And they are hardly alone in the UFO field. Indeed, members of the LDS have been covertly pushing the extraterrestrial narrative since at least the 1970s. Consider, for instance, Sunn Classic Pictures, a production company located in Salt Lake City and dominated by Mormons. During the 1970s, it had some success with a series of documentaries it released. These documentaries either dealt with Biblical narratives or UFO/paranormal subjects, especially the ancient alien trope. This was also the era of the original Battlestar Galatica, created by Mormon Glen A. Larson and loaded with Mormon cosmology. The 21st century version toned down the Mormonism greatly, but several of the crucial elements.
![]() |
Glen A. Larson |
Since the 1990s, a Mormon presence in Ufology has been much more pronounced beyond Hollywood. Firmage was once one of the principal investors. Fugal has picked up some of the slack in recent years. Elsewhere Harry Reid, the former Democratic Senate Majority leader who procured funding for the Pentagon's 21st century UFO inquiries, is also a Mormon.
![]() |
Reid |
Personally, I don't think it's a coincidence at all that there has been such an influx of Mormons into the UFO narrative since at least the 1970s. This is likely a glimpse into true ideology that dominates in certain circles --not the wholesome, Leave it to Beaver image of Mormonism that's been carefully cultivated for decades now, but an esoteric variety with a truly bizarre conception of the chosen people. It's faith that few are probably ever brought into fully, least of all rank-and-file LDSers. And Mormonism is surely not the only flavor available in such circles, but certainly one of the most overlooked ones.
Suffice to say, this is the type of thing that no one in these circles wants coming out. A guy like Pandolfi cashing in on his CIA credentials to run a confidence game or two on dupes is one thing. Financial gain is a motive the public can easily grok. The implications of the belief systems driving the continual funding for this stuff is not so easy to digest.
But with the heightened attention the UFO narrative is currently generating, the moneymaking schemes of many of the "experts" in the field could become a major issue. Fortunately for all involved, Kiviat's lawsuit appears to have been ill-conceived. It appears to be winding down with no major revelations forthcoming. But it is very illustrative of how fragile the mythos around Ufology truly is. The combination of flim-flam men and religious fanatics at the heart of Ufology is not something certain quarters want John Q. Public paying too much attention to.
Cults
On the topic of cults and UFOs, I've got a great one to share with you guys! We already discussed some of the strange symbolism present at this year's Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC). Let us now consider one of the speakers, a certain Hiroaki “Jay” Aeba of the Happiness Realization Party (HRP). This outfit helped establish Japan's own version of CPAC.
![]() |
Aeba |
Predictably, Aeba and the HRP have an anti-PRC stance, and the threat China poses to the American Empire was at the heart of his address. This is all pretty textbook for a right-wing Japanese politician addressing his US counterparts for the past 75+ years. What really stands out about Aeba and the HRP is the body behind both.
It is known as "Happy Science" and has been described as a cult by some commentators. Founder Ryuho Okawa reportedly believes himself to be the reincarnation of a god from Venus who created all life on earth millions of years ago. So yeah, cult sounds about right. These Happy Science folks should fit right in with Falun Gong and the remnants of the Unification Church in the GOP's Asian section.
![]() |
Happy Science... |
Predictably, neo-liberal outlets like Vice are having a field day with the GOP's increasingly open relationship with various cults. No doubt they feel secure in knowing the Democrats would never publicly align themselves with an outfit like NXIVM or the Satanic Temple or some weird UFO cult...
Neo-liberal cults have an easier time flying under the radar. They typically attract celebrities and feature glowing accounts in Rolling Stone or whatever constitutes a chic/hip publication in 2021. There's no way GOP cults can compete in terms of gloss. Fortunately, they more than makeup for it in sheer batshit insanity.
Case in point, the whole Shaunawaz and Sabmyk thing. There have been some interesting developments in this offshoot of QAnon since I last touched upon them. Rumblings indicate that the "visionary" behind the "Sabmyk network" has been unmasked. Reportedly, he's a Berlin-based artist known as Sebastian Bieniek.
![]() |
Bieniek |
As one might imagine, Bieniek is an interesting guy. In the twilight zone of Q, strange figures appear endorsing the purported crusade against the Pedophocracy. Figures like General Paul Vallely, Michael Aquino's old Mind War buddy. And something maybe in the works for Sabmyk as well. Turns out Bieniek worked with none other than Marina "Spirit Cooking" Abramovic, she of Pizzagate infamy. Apparently, Abramovic was an influence on Bieniek's approach to performance art. Don't expect many discussions on that to emerge among the Safmyk network.
![]() |
Abramovic |
Another interesting aspect of Bieniek is his long history of making fake social media accounts to promote his art. Indeed, it seems as though the Sabmyk network grew out of various characters Bieniek created to promote his work. Bieniek even published a book in 2011, RealFake, that detailed his use of social media and fake identities ("sock puppets") to promote his efforts. As the title implies, the book takes the Baudrillardian perspective that the lines between reality and fiction have been blurred to the point of being non-existent. Is Bieniek a practitioner of theory-fiction? I've found nothing online to suggest such, but it would hardly be surprising if he were aware of the concept.
Bieniek's connection to Abramovic puts developments in conspiritainment over the past five years in a curious perspective. As was noted above, there are compelling indications that various Aviary types having been crafting UFO mythos to promote their own confidence games. For more on the strange dealings of the Aviary, I'd suggest picking up a copy of Adam Gorightly's most recent work, the groundbreaking and brilliant Saucers, Spooks, and Kooks.
If Ufology has been used as a field for various confidence games for decades now, are mainline conspiracy theories any different? Certainly Bieniek appears to have been using QAnon to promote a hoax for the purpose of selling his art. Michael Flynn has already cashed in on QAnon. He is hardly alone in these efforts. And what of Pizzagate, a crucial foundation stone in QAnon? While there were clearly political motives for leaking Podesta's emails, did someone start playing up Abramovic's art as a marketing gimmick, one that quickly got out of hand?
But would someone use the Pedophracy and conspiracy theories in general to sale their art? Well, if you've seen any number of music videos made in the twenty-first century, or skimmed a website like Vigilant Citizen, then the answer to the question should be a resounding "yes." This isn't to suggest that there aren't strange beliefs present in these circles --see my above musings on esoteric Mormonism. But there's a lot of humbug as well, and that's what sales. And certain folks are living very well off of these efforts.
It's that time again kids. For this subscribers episode I've brought in two guests to discuss the highly influential and overlooked counterculture of the 1980s. Both are returning. They are musician and author Samuel Vandiver of the experimental electronica/folk outfit Corwin Trails; and writer, researcher, and activist Edmund Berger, author of Uncertain Futures: An Assessment of the Conditions of the Presentand the forthcoming Acceleration: Utopia Currents from Dada to the CCRU.
For those of you who have heard my prior shows with Ed on postmodernism and the Cybernetic Culture Research Unit, then you know this man is well versed on all things underground. But Sam is especially qualified: He was the neighbor and friend of legendary Feral House publisher Adam Parfrey. Through his relationship with Adam, Sam acquired an unique, insider perspective on many of the figures up for discussion.
If you like your Farm's philosophical, this is the one for you. We begin with an epic discussion of the infamous French thinker Georges Bataille and his heavy influence on 80s counterculture. Sam provides specific insights into the influence that Bataille had on Parfrey and his early efforts. From there, we go into a rundown of Situationism and how this lineage continued into the 1980s through the efforts of figures such as Bob Black.
![]() |
Bataille |
The mid-point of our discussion revolves around two curious currents from the 1980s: the Neoism and the Abraxas Foundation. Ed traces the tangled history of the former, including it's most recent ties to QAnon. Sam tackles the complex history of Abraxas and it's successors in the alt-right. To wrap up, we engage in a fascinating discuss over whether the legendary figure of James Shelby Downard was a "hyperstition' crafted by Parfrey, Michael A. Hoffman II, and company.
These are just a few of the highlights in what is a wide ranging conversation that traces the underground currents of the West from the interwar years to present. As always, I hope you guys enjoy. Ed and Sam are the latest guests in an ever growing collection of exclusive content in our subscriber's section. Other guests include Diana Walsh-Pasulka, Richard B. Spence, Christopher Knowles, Douglas Valentine, Adam Gorightly, Greg Bishop, Walter Bosley, David Metcalfe, Neil Sanders, and J. Michael "Doctor Future" Bennett.
Strange Days, Stranger Realities
There's no question that the COVID lockdowns of 2020 fundamentally altered our society and that the changes are still ongoing. By now, I'm sure many of you are aware of some of the more nefarious plans being telegraphed by the neo-liberal order in bright, neon skylights. These are the obvious stakes from the lockdowns.
But are there potentially even more subversive undercurrents brewing that have completely flown under the radar? I for one certainly think so, least of all because in an era of total Accelerationism in the legacy media, it's easy for things to fall by the wayside. Especially if they seem weird or trivial. Often times, that is exactly the type of stuff the upends social order. You never see it coming until it's too late.
So, what stands out to me? Chiefly, the developments in the ongoing symbiosis of magic and mysticism on the one hand, and the Internet on the other. Of course, the merger of the magical with the digital is nothing new at this point. Just grab that old copy of TechGnosis or Cyberia you probably still have in a closet somewhere if you don't believe me. In between Utopian musings that often seem hysterically dated in 2021, that likes of Erik Davis and Douglas Rushkoff are able to make some very compelling arguments for the close relationship between metaphysics and tech. During the late 1980s, while working on a new edition for her legendary Drawing Dawn the Moon, Margot Adler conducted an informal survey among the growing neo-pagan community concerning their occupations. She found that a staggering amount of them worked in the computer industry.
So, the ghosts have clearly been in the machine for awhile now. But this time, it's different. Seriously.
2020 gave new meaning to the phrase "captive audience." Those few lonely souls who had not yet embraced streaming circa 2019 learned too during the following year. But there's only so much binge watching a human being can embark upon. Something else was needed and this led to some creative solutions.
One of the most remarked upon is the Randonautica app. Fittingly, it's creators have cited chaos theory and Debord's "theory of the derive" as inspirations. The app grew out of bot utilized in fringe sciences group on Telegram in 2019. By July 2020, the Atlantic was hailing it the "App of the Summer." Essentially, Randonautica promises on-demand synchronicity. The user focuses their intention on what type of experience they wish to have, then the app generates a coordinate and provides the user with directions.
Often times the results are mundane. I personally used the app for Thanksgiving 2020. I made four separate attempts with the app, two for adventures within walking distance, and two in the car. I wasn't able to make it to any of the destinations, which is a common complaint among users. Sometimes coordinates are given in the middle of a lake or another body of water, for instance. In my case, all the coordinates were on private property. As I live in a rural area of West Virginia, seeing my Randonautica adventure through to it's conclusion probably would have been a good way of getting shot.
A few adventures were more "successful." The one that really put Randonautica on the map was the discovery of two dead bodies in suitcase at a site the app's users were directed to. Specifically, it was a TikTok video recounting this adventure that really raised aware about Randonautica. Soon, a flurry of such videos on TikTok, often utilizing scores from horror films, followed. Living out The Blair Witch Project has never been easier.
The Metaphysics of TikToc
2020 was a big year for TikToc. The Chinese company was hailed as one of the fastest growing brands of the year. Elsewhere, former President Donald J. Trump raised a stink about banning TikToc in the fall of 2020, only to relent hours before the ban was supposed to go into effect. No doubt any number of factors played into the Orange One's brief war with TikToc during his failed presidential bid. The China angle is an obvious one. There's also the corporate angle: Trump, true to form, was able to procure a cut in TikTok for Wal-Mart and Oracle prior to the ban going live. No doubt a piece of the action made corporate America more favorably disposed.
But there's no question TikToc has become a force. Consider: a video posted on March 26, 2021 turned a Missouri ghost town into a tourist attraction in a matter of days. Certainly the geopolitical implications are staggering, but I'm more fascinated by the ability of TikToc users to re-enchant the burned out corners of the decaying America empire with videos such as this and the ones derived from Randonautica.
Which brings us to one of the really strange aspects of TikToc in 2020. It's called "reality shifting." Utilizing elements of lucid dreaming and deep meditation, reality shift purports to take Gen Z into another world. "Shifters" start the process by scripting out their desired reality. It's not uncommon for fictional universes derived from the likes of Harry Potter or Avatar to be invoked. Shifters are instructed to plot out as much of their desired reality, including how they will appear and their interactions with other characters in these scripts.
From there, Shifters work on controlling their sleeping habits. Reality-shifting is supposedly most effective during an R.E.M. state. To activate the shift, a combination of affirmation/countdown can be used, or the "staircase method." Some kids have even employed subliminal messaging in music to induce the shift.
All of this is quite fascinating on a number of levels. There are precedents, of course. Some have pointed to the "otherkin" and related communities. Otherkin, roughly speaking, are "people who believe and live as if they are partly other-than-human, for example, part-dragon, unicorn, vampire, angel, fae or other mythological or supernatural creature" (Fiction, Invention, and Hyper-reality, Cusack, 40). A parallel has been drawn between a specific subsection of Otherkin and the Shifters, namely the "soulbonders" of the prior decade:
".... Soulbonders form 'full-blown interpersonal relationship(s)' with 'other-than-human' entities, who may be fictional...Mrs Sephiroth and Sephirothslave, two women who were the avowed lovers of Sephiroth, a character from the videogame Final Fantasy, and... the phenomena of 'Snapists' (or SnapeWives), three women (Rose, Conchita and Tonya) who believe themselves to be in intimate sexual relationships with Severus Snape from the Harry Potter novels and films... of two intriguing phenomena that now seem to have ended..."
(Carol Cusack, "Otherkin and Therianthropy communities..." in Fiction, Invention, and Hyper-reality, 45)
The "SnapeWives" are especially interesting in light of the rampant use of Harry Potter among the Shifters. Given with the day-to-day realities of the post-lockdown world, it's understandable that many Gen Zs would want to escape to Hogwarts. But there are some even darker undercurrents at play than Draco Malfoy.
Vice reports that another recent TikTok fetish is known as "The Gateway," which is drawn from declassified CIA documents. It should be noted, however, that these documents did not originate from the CIA, but the Pentagon. The CIA was merely reviewing in this case.
The concept of "The Gateway" was actually developed by New Age guru Robert Monroe. Essentially, Monroe alleged that his techniques could induce an out-of-body experience (OBE) in which consciousness would breakthrough the confines of space and time. There, the past, present, and the future could all be observed at once.
A big part of Monroe's method involved the process of "Hemi-Synch." Binaural beats were used to synch the two hemispheres of the brain. In other words, it also uses audio cues to induce an "enhanced" sleep state. Monroe took these techniques and established the Monroe Institute around instructing guests how to achieve "The Gateway" with them.
![]() |
Monroe |
During the 1980s, when they legendary General Albert Stubblebine headed the US Army's Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM), Monroe and his institute became a big deal. It was common for the military's remote viewers, along with other characters such as Colonel John Alexander, to make use of Monroe's good offices. CIA was less impressed. In Phenomena: The Secret History of the U.S. Government's Investigation Into Extrasensory Perception and Psychokinesis, Annie Jacobsen notes that the CIA concluded: "Altered states make the brain unstable... and can have effects similar to hallucinogens" (pg. 291). The CIA also recommended that the Army disengage from it's relationship with the Monroe Institute as at best their methods would produce "more noise than signal" for remote viewers.
Conclusion
Obviously, there are some similarities between "The Gateway" and reality shifters. This point hasn't been lost on the Shifters themselves. But if the CIA's assessment is correct, psychosis may be a real potential fall out from "The Gateway." Which begs the question about the long-term effects of "shifting" on Generation Z.
If you've been following this blog or my podcast of late, you're probably aware of the emphasis I've put on the breakdown of consensus reality. Generally, I've explored this through the prism of alternate reality games or QAnon. Nominally, the mysticism of TikTok is far more benign. As was noted above, I fully grok the need of teenagers to escape our current reality. Further, Gen Z is merely continuing an ongoing process prior generations have already embraced. Christopher Partridge dubbed it the "Re-Enchantment of the West," the return of magical thinking to day to day life.
Partridge argued that the process of re-enchantment had begun in earnest during the 1960s counterculture. But it was during the '90s cyberculture and the rise of the Internet that things really took off. On the one hand, it was easier for fellow eccentrics to find one and other than ever. But on the other hand, it made spirituality even more personalized. With all of human knowledge now available at one's fingertips, the need to submit to a congregation or master was less than ever.
In this context, we would do well to keep an eye on the enchantment of TikTok. The reality shifting phenomena in particular seems to come with some major red flags. Beyond the disturbing implications of teenagers embracing declassified CIA documents as a form of rebellion, of course. And with that, I shall sign off for now. As always, stay tuned till next time dear reader.
It's May Day folks, which means its also the first of the month. And that means, besides celebrating the Rites of Spring in your own peculiar way, you've also got a brand new, exclusive episode of The Farm to add to the festivities. That is if you're a subscriber, of course.
This is an exclusive installment in The Farm's ongoing "The Secret History of Ufology" series. Joining me for this round is Erica Lukes of UFO Classified. Erica is a former member of MUFON, first working as a field investigator and later becoming a State Director for Utah. She's also been a guest on such TV shows as History's Ancient Aliens and The Travel Channel's UFOs: The Lost Evidence.
Erica's background is especially apt for the topic of discussion: the Mutual UFO Network, more commonly known as MUFON. On the surface, MUFON may not seem like the sexiest topic, but that's probably because you haven't been paying attention. MUFON is undoubtedly one of the sleaziest and most corrupt organizations active today. The upper echelons have been deeply implicated in a host of outrages, including pedophilia, sexual entrapment, data mining, and right-wing extremism. And that's just MUFON's "Inner Circle."
Rank-and-file members are routinely exploited by the organization. Simply filing a report with MUFON can lead one to losing the copyright to their encounter account (seriously). Personal data turned over to MUFON has likely been sold to a host of shadowy companies. And if you expect anyone to be qualified who works with MUFON, forget it: Being anything from a field investigator to a member of the Inner Circle is determined by nothing other than how much cash you're willing to pony up. To cap it off, former members who have come forward have often been subjected to gang stalking and other forms of harassment.
And those are just a few of the topics we touch upon. Also up for discussion are the Mormon mafia, nonlethal weapons, the dark uses of the real estate industry, personality profiling, and the real possibility of a QAnon-style operation breaking out in the UFO field. It's a fascinating talk chalk full of original research and first-hand accounts of the inner workings of MUFON. As always, I hope you guys enjoy.
Erica is the latest in an ever-growing collection of exclusive shows for The Farm's subscribers. Prior guests include Diana Walsh-Pasulka, Richard B. Spence, Christopher Knowles, Douglas Valentine, Adam Gorightly, Walter Bosley, Greg Bishop, J. Michael "Doctor Future" Bennett, David Metcalfe, Neil Sanders, Edmund Berger, and Samuel Vandiver. Coming up soon will be my interview with Radix Verum of Patriot's Soapbox, in which she will provide an insider's account of the origins of Q.
Plantation Intrigues
Many strange things have happened before, during, and after the inauguration of Joe Biden as the 46th president of these United States. Recently, a little more light had has been shed on one of the more notable curiosities surrounding Inauguration Day. It was then that an obscure company in South Florida suddenly announced to the world that it had taken over the management of an enormous chunk of idle space of Internet owned by he Department of Defense.
In the following weeks, speculation has been rampant concerning this move. The Pentagon was finally forced to clarify matters recently. Reportedly, these moves were made to allow the military to "assess, evaluate and prevent unauthorized use of DoD IP address space" and to "identify potential vulnerabilities" so as to defend against cyberattacks.
As to the former, the Pentagon has to routinely contend with unauthorized squatters setting up shop on it's Internet space. Chasing off these squatters is likely in play, but the military may also be planning on collecting "a massive amount of background internet traffic for threat intelligence.” The end game could be to set up some type of digital honeypot to draw in hackers, or even set up an infrastructure to scour traffic for suspect activity.
What no one seems to grok is the company selected for these efforts --Global Resource Systems LLC. Red flags abound, starting with the outfit's name. A prior incarnation of Global Resource Systems operated in the same South Florida city during the first decade of the twenty-first century. The prior incarnation dealt in spam mail and shut down more than a decade ago. The new GRS is an LLC rather than a corporation, but appears to be using the same Internet routing identifier. Naturally, no explanation has been put forth as to why a Pentagon contractor would be taking on the persona of a spam mail outfit.
GRS Mach II has no online presence as yet. The LLC was originally incorporated in Delaware by a Beverly Hills lawyer, and only seems to exist physically in a shared workspace above a bank. And yet, it reportedly controls more Internet space than China Telecom, AT&T, or Comcast.
The Beverly Hills attorney is one Raymond Saulino. Previously, Saulino had ties to a company called Packet Forensics. This outfit specialized in selling forged security credentials to government agencies and law enforcement so to make it easier for them to spy on people's browsing history. The company was eventually able to parlay these skills into a DARPA contract. In theory, the capabilities Packet Forensics specializes in would be ideal for staging a cyberattack false flag --something that's been a growing concern in recent years. Of course, only the Russians, the Chinese, or other "rogue" regimes would ever dream of doing such a thing. The US's interest is surely only for "defensive" purposes.
For me, the most interesting thing about Global Resource Systems LLC is it's location: Plantation, FL. Part of the Miami/Fort Lauderdale area, Plantation is not known for much. While somewhat more affluent than other, nearby areas, it's not an especially rich region by the standards of Miami. Nor is it especially economically viable.
A Magical Place
GRS may have chosen Plantation for it's headquarters because it's such an unassuming location in one of the most economically significant areas of the US. However, there just happens to be another curious company based out Planation. It goes by then name of Magic Leap (ML).
ML was founded in 2010 by a biomedical engineer named Rony Abovitz. For a time, much effort was put forward to hype up Abovitz as the next bro tech billionaire a la Elon Musk. Almost every profile I've read of him is quick to point out his love of sci-fi. We are also assured he has a unique way of viewing the world, that he builds "wealth through people" (just as every despot throughout human history has....), and that he he values diversity.
Circa 2016, with the neo-liberal organ Wiredleading the charge, it was proclaimed that Abovitz was engaged in a "Quest to Create a New King of Reality." Abovitz and ML were going to manage this through a "new" type of technology known as "augmented reality." In reality, AR is just a variation of the same type of virtual reality tech that's been available since the late 1980s. The major difference between AR and VR is that the latter attempts to immerse the player in an entirely digital world. In the case of AR, the real world and objects in it are "enhanced" by "computer-generated perceptual information." As with VR, headsets are a requirement of AR, along with other bulky equipment worn over the body so as to more completely immerse the player in the experience.
Magic Leap's headset and related tech were said to be the best. Numerous accounts of it breathlessly likened it to the Oasis of Ready Player Oneor the Metaverse of Neal Stephenson's Snow Crash. In fact, ML dug the Snow Crash comparison so much that the company even hired Stephenson as the company's "chief futurist."
Nor was Stephenson the only hipster cred ML attempted to attract. Game designer Graeme Devine, creator of The 7th GuestandThe 11th Hour, was brought in as the "Chief Creative Officer." The big catch, however, was surely effects designer Richard Taylor, the founder and head of Weta Workshops. Taylor and his company are best down for providing the bulk of the effects for Peter Jackson's Lord of the Ringsand The Hobbit trilogies. The connection to Taylor and Weta provided ample opportunities for Jackson to drop by ML to observe the future of entertainment, especially when the company happened to be doing a certain type of entertaining involving journalists.
Remarkably, it worked. During the middle of the past decade, a lot of companies were buying into the hype around ML --literally. During it's big coming out party in 2014, ML raised over $500 million in investment. Among the contributors were Google, Qualcomm, and venture capital firms Andreessen Horowitz and Kleiner Perkins. The most remarkable part is that none of these companies reportedly knew exactly what they were investing in when they opened their wallets. All that mattered was that Abovitz was ready to revolutionize technology any day.
Of course, it wasn't just the entertainment industry Magic Leap was trying to revolutionize. Amidst much less fanfare, the company also set it's sites (har har) on those plush, juicy defense contracts. Nor is this surprising in the least. Despite all the bold projections about how ML would change the ways stories were told, product roll out has been problematic, to put mildly. The truth is, no one really seems to know if AR has long term commercial viability.
Military applications are a different story. They already exist and will likely only grow in the coming years. ML appears to have been a little late to recognize this. The only brought in a big shot defense director in 2018. It didn't take long for military interest to pick up after that. By 2019, the US Navy was using ML headsets.
![]() |
ML headsets being used by the US Navy for training exercises |
It all appears to have been to little, to late, however. Towards the end of March 2021, rival Microsoft was awarded a sought after contract to deliver AR headsets to the Army. This was one in a string of setbacks ML experienced beginning in 2020. In the spring of that year, it laid off nearly a thousand of its employees and dropped its commercial business. The pandemic was blamed, but it wasn't enough to save founder Rony Abovitz. After several years of media hype, he was unceremonially forced out of the company. In 2019, Magic Leap was valued at $6.7 billion dollars. By September 2020, it had fallen to $450 million, a loss of 93% of its value. The Microsoft deal this year was probably the final nail in the coffin.
Undoubtedly, we'll never know what exactly happened behind the scenes. No doubt, there were political considerations. The Microsoft deal being green lit months after Biden took office is likely not coincidental. Its also quite ominous. One of the major issues raised concerning the use of AR in the military is the ease with which the tech can be hacked. And of course, Microsoft's security appears to have been greatly compromised by a recent cyberattack. Kind of seems like a recipe for disaster --not that anyone asked me.
Was Magic Leap simply not as incompetent or corrupt as their counterparts in Microsoft? Possibly, but perhaps their purpose has simply been fulfilled. One of the most interesting names linked to the company is the one of Sean Stewart. Stewart has worn many hats over the course of his media career, but he is principally known for his work in the alternate reality game (ARG) field, where he is considered a pioneer. Stewart was involved in setting up early ARGs such as The Beastand Ilovebees. Stewart co-founded two companies, 42 Entertainment and Fourth Wall Studios, that were among the first to specialize in the commercial applications of ARGs.

Stewart |
Thus, I found it most interesting that Stewart put in five years with Magic Leap, first as a consultant, and later as a "creative director." Stewart's tenure with the company ended in April 2020, just as the lay offs were kicking in. Certainly, it's interesting to see a guy with this kind of background working for a company based out of what was going to be a highly contested state during the 2020 election. Just saying.
And what of this Global System Resources outfit springing up as a major force in Plantation just as ML appears to throwing in the towel? Is it all a feign, with a new, militarized version of ML rising from the ashes after a lifeline or two from GSR? Only time will tell, but it's truly odd these highly secretive, defense-related tech companies ended up in the same obscure Florida city in recent years. These developments certainly warrant keeping an eye on.
Non-lethals
Since we're speculating on tech with military applications, why not cover some non-lethal weapons? This is a subject once again making headlines, and in some remarkable ways. Most notably, how casually mainstream publications are acknowledging directed-energy weapons as a thing.
It all started with a re-evaluation of "Havana syndrome." Remember that? It occurred several years ago, and involved American diplomats in Cuban and Russia experiencing unusual system. Initially, there were rumblings of some type of sonic weapon being used. Eventually, this explanation was brushed aside in favor of more "reasonable" culprits, such as the sounds of crickets causing the unusual injuries reported.
![]() |
Fear the cricket... |
Now it turns out, the cricket explanation may not have been entirely accurate either. Reports are coming out that the initial investigation was botched, and that the possibility of non-lethals being used is so probable that the CIA felt the need to create a task force to study the matter. It's interesting to note that the reports of the CIA task force on this matter first began to emerge a little over a month after Biden took office.
Then in April 2021, the Pentagon massively raised the stakes. It alleged that US forces were targeted with directed-energy weapons in Syria. In the same breath, they blamed the Russians for these attacks. Curiously, these reports started to come out after Congressional lawmakers were briefed on these attacks by "Pentagon officials." When these same lawmakers questioned General Frank McKenzie, the head of CenCom, about these reports, he informed them that he had seen "no evidence" of such attacks against US troops in the Middle East.
In fairness to General McKenzie, it's probably the Special Operations Command (SOCOM) rather than CenCom that's directing the war in Syria. Thus, McKenzie is not in the chain of command for this one. And the chain of command is so important in the military, unless you happen to be a member of the Flynn family.
Politico further hints at a SOCOM link when it noted that the Pentagon's Office of Special Operations and Low-Intensity Conflict (SO/LIC) initiated an investigation into directed-energy weapons being used against US troops in Syria during 2020. The Assistant Secretary of Defense who heads the SO/LIC is the principal civilian responsible for oversight of the SOCOM.
This is interesting on a few levels. For one, it further reinforces the interest SOCOM has in non-lethals. But beyond this, there's who headed the SO/LIC during 2020: Eventual Secretary of Defense Christopher C. Miller; and Ezra Cohen-Watnick, a notorious lackey of Michael Flynn's. We've already explored some of the recent intrigues involving the Miller/ECW duo during the final week's of Trump's presidency. If either or both of these characters are the ones who initiated this investigation, it raises some interesting possibilities.

Batman and the Boy Wonder: Miller (top) and ECW (bottom) |
Effectively both the CIA and SOCOM, the two principal bodies responsible for covert operations in the national security state (and at times, intense rivals of one another), are actively investigating the use of non-lethals on US personnel by "foreign actors" (aka the Russians). This is all quite fascinating in light of the looming UFO Disclosure, which will be unfolding soon. Hype has apparently built to the point that Forbeshad pondered whether 2021 will be the year of the UFO.
Certainly, there have been a lot of interesting developments during the run up. Shortly before the COVID bill was signed, the bizarre monolith LARP broke out, first nationally, then internationally. But it started in the state of Utah, which is highly significant to modern Ufology due to the Mormon connection. Popular Fox News commentator Tucker Carlson has been flogging the UFO Disclosure narrative on a regular basis. John Ratcliffe, Trump's former Director of National Intelligence, has been hyping reports collected by the military. And of course, the military played in a role in the hype after it confirmed the authenticity of several dubious videos in the spring of 2020.
In certain circles, there has been speculation that the UFO Disclosure narrative will be used as a means of rolling out the US Military's new, high tech toys --toys that may (this will surely never be confirmed) be based upon reverse engineered alien tech. I suspect these toys will be based upon concepts that have been researched in the non-lethal field (i.e. directed-energy weapons) for some time.
In this context, it makes a lot of sense to have the CIA and SOCOM investigating the non-lethal tech of China and Russia. If I'm correct, then it can be claimed their weapons derive from a similar source, further bolstering the claims of the US intelligence community. And just imagine the kind of escalations that could occur with those types of weapons of massive destruction.
Mind you, I really hope I'm way off base on this one. The temptation is always to chalk UFO Disclosure up as another round of confidence games. But there's just something about this one that seems ever so slightly off. And with recent develops in Ufology (see today's interview with Erica Lukes) that's led to increased fanaticism, a perfect storm-type scenario could be unfolding before our eyes.
Again, I hope I'm way off base, but stay alert folks and don't buy into the hype during the coming weeks. And with that I shall sign off for now. Until next time, stay tuned.
The ides of the month are once again upon us and you know what that means. In this very special subscribers' episode of The Farm I'm joined by Radix Verum of Patriots' Soapbox. Radix is one of the most controversial investigators active in the alternative media today. She and her husband, Pamphlet Anon, were early players in what became the QAnon phenomena going back to the pre-8chan days. In this exclusive interview, Radix traces the early history of the Q movement from the perspective of someone who witnessed it first hand. She recounts the involvement she and her husband had with Dr. Jerome Corsi (he of World Net Daily, Info Wars, the Swift Boat Vets, the Birthers, and so on...), his ties with the early Q movement, and other shadowy figures lurking in the background.
From there, we get into who may have been behind Q. Radix lays out the intrigues unfolding in the Middle East and how this led an Israeli private intelligence company known as Psy-Group to ponder some novel psychological warfare techniques. From there, we get into Psy-Group's post-2016 election business arrangements with the infamous SCL Group/Cambridge Analytica network. This led to a host of developments, leading up to many of the strange moves at the Pentagon after the 2020 election, and climaxing with the events of January 6th.
Along the way, we have an epic discussion concerning Colonel Michael Aquino, his doctrine of MindWar, and the influences of Jacques Ellul& Giordano Bruno upon it; the overlap between the theory-fictions of The Aviary and QAnon; the use of "twilight language" in psychological warfare; the real foreign influence on the US government; and so much more.
But that's not all subscribers have to look forward to today. They're getting an additional, two-hours of bonus material! Yes, an complete second interview between Radix and myself is also going up today!
After Radix agreed to appear on The Farm, I offered to return the favor and appear on PSB. She took me up on that offer and the result is two hours of parapolitical/high weirdness gold. After live streaming this interview on Patriots' Soapbox on May 14, 2021, Radix has graciously allowed me to repost it in my subscribers' section.
The first hour largely focuses on the events of January 6th; the role the Oath Keepers played; the general history of the outfit; and the American stay-behind network. From there, things start getting weird. I delve into the early history of Ufology, the Collins Elite, CIA/Pentagon-engineered cults, Skinwalker Ranch, the Sovereign Order of Saint John, and the Order of the White Eagle. The first half is certainly more coherent, but there are plenty of gems to be found in the second. As always, I hope you guys enjoy. And a big thank you Radix for having me PBS and allowing me to upload this ep. As always, I hope you guys enjoy.
Radix is the latest in an ever growing roster of guests for these exclusive subscriber shows. Prior guests include Diana Walsh-Pasulka, Richard B. Spence Christopher Knowles, Douglas Valentine, Adam Gorightly, Greg Bishop, Walter Bosley, J. Michael "Doc Future" Bennett, Erica Lukes, David Metcalfe, Neil Sanders, the Penny Royal crew, Edmund Berger and Samuel Vandiver. Next up is Dr. Andre Gagne of Concordia University to talk some spiritual warfare and related topics.
Non-Lethals and SOCOM
Obviously, there are no shortage of current events to discuss at present. Let's begin with a thread we explored during my last post: non-lethal weapons. Yes, they've been back in the news in a big way over the last few weeks. The crickets explanation has quietly been dismissed regarding "Havana syndrome." Sonic or microwave weapons are back on the table. What's more, the Pentagon is alleging that military personnel have been targeted in Syria. Both the CIA and the Pentagon are currently carrying out investigations into these incidents.
Now, more fuel has been added to the fire, and by White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki no less. In May 2021 she acknowledged that suspected attacks have occurred in these United States, including in the nation's capital. The Daily Mail has also acknowledged reports of Havana syndrome in DC. One reported victim was a National Security Council staffer while the other was simply described as a "White House official" in the Trump administration.
As was noted above, the CIA and Pentagon have already been studying the incidents. But apparently, that's not enough. Biden's National Security Council is now conducting it's own investigation as well.
For those of us who have followed the developments of the non-lethal weapons for years now, these last few weeks have been quite eyebrow raising. This is the type of stuff that was largely dismissed as far out conspiracy theories for decades. But in 2021, we've seen numerous mainstream news agencies acknowledge the possibility of these types of weapons being a reality. It's something worth keeping an eye on going forward, especially with the looming UFO Disclosure on the horizon.
***
On the subject of things worth keeping an eye on, let us turn our attention to ongoing developments within the special operations community. As regular readers of this blog are aware, a lot has been going on in such circles for the past year or so. On the one hand, the outgoing Trump administration took steps to establish the US Special Operations Command (SOCOM) as it's own branch of the military during it's final months. On the other hand, a rash of strange deaths over the past year have rocked Fort Bragg, the black heart of the US special operations community. As to the latter, even the mainstream media has begun to take note. No less than Rolling Stone weighed in, gleefully ripping off my research without credit along the way. So it goes.
While 2020 was certainly a banner year for SOCOM scandals (the extent of which we likely will not know for decades), the warning signs have been evident for a while now. Members of the special operations community have been implicated in drug trafficking and even murder with increasingly frequency in recent years. Reportedly, all the murders linked to Fort Bragg this past year involved drugs. One is left with the distinct impression that SOCOM is little more than a glorified drug cartel, not unlike it's predecessor, the CIA's Directorate of Plans/Operations (DO). But the DO got soft towards the end of the Cold War, playing the role of the American Syndicate to SOCOM's rising Russian mafia.
It is Trump's decision to elevate SOCOM to it's own branch of the military that is proving most controversial, however. Politico reports that current SOCOM commander General Richard D. Clarke has been rallying his not inconsiderable resources to push back against the move. Clarke is concerned about encroaching civilian control over SOCOM if the outfit is made into it's own branch of the military.
![]() |
General Richard D. Clarke |
This is a bit of a surprising development, and adds another level of intrigue to the ongoing saga involving the Pentagon during Trump's final months in office. Shortly after his alleged defeat in the 2020 US Presidential Election, the Orange One abruptly sacked Mark Esper (who had publicly rebuked Trump for suggesting the use of the military to quell riots during the summer of 2020 and oversaw the DoD when the military refused to intervene in the 2020 elections) and replaced him with Christopher C. Miller as Secretary of Defense. Miller, in turn, was quick to elevate SOCOM to it's own branch of the Armed Forces.
It should be emphasized that Miller himself is a former US Army colonel who spent virtually his entire career in special operations, including a stint with the highly secretive Intelligence Support Activity (note before here). Thus, he should have been as aware of the pulse of SOCOM as well as anyone. And yet he pushed throw this highly controversial move while Trump was theoretically a lame duck? And he continues to vigorously defend Trump's actions regarding January 6th to boot.
![]() |
Christopher C. Miller |
What is going on here, especially in the context of the criminal activity at Fort Bragg? Was elevating SOCOM to it's own branch of the military a form of blackmail? Heightened civilian control over SOCOM may well have shown a brighter light on the rampant criminal activity in the special operations community. This is turn could have led to more restrictions, and possibly even prosecutions. Was Trump attempting to force SOCOM to support his attempts to over turn the election by using this as leverage? It was reported that deploying the military was discussed before Trump's advisors opted for the January 6th protests instead. Was General Clarke concerned about the politicization of SOCOM that would have resulted from these moves?
But would special operations veterans like Michael Flynn and especially Miller have supported such a crass power grab by Trump over a command they, and many of Trump's military supporters, had pledged their lives' work too?
Curiously, current Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin (who also has deep ties to Fort Bragg) made partially reversing SOCOM's status as an independent branch of the military a top priority. Currently a decision remains in limbo as the Joint Special Operations University conducts what is widely viewed as a sham review. In all likelihood, it will recommend SOCOM retains it's present status.

Lloyd Austin |
![]() |
General Charles Flynn |
Was Trump, as a lame duck, implementing a decision forced upon SOCOM by Congress that no one wanted to see through? Were the riots in turn to ensure that the incoming Biden administration would reverse course?
I suspect the factors behind January 6th and the moves leading up to it were Byzantine, and the status of SOCOM was thus one of many. But it clearly seems to have been more contested than I originally believed. Maybe in 50 years we'll finally have some indication of how central it was. Clearly, this is a JFK assassination/9/11-type deep event unfolding before our eyes.
He's Baaaaack
The other headline that's caught my eye is the announcement of the pending divorce of Bill and Melinda Gates. While this is significant on a number of levels, the really intriguing thing is who's name has surfaced in conjunction with the separation: Jeffrey Epstein. Remember that crazy guy? Everyone's favorite VIP sex trafficker?
Bill Gates surely wishes Melinda didn't.
The couple has allegedly spent weeks working with PR specialists to frame their divorce. And yet, Melinda Gates' camp is clearly dishing the dirt on Bill's relationship to Jeffrey. And it's not pretty. The Daily Beast reports that the relationship between Gates and Epstein was much closer than originally reported, surprising absolutely no one who has followed this train wreck.
![]() |
Bill and Melinda |
It was already acknowledged that Boris Nikolić, a biotech investor and former scientific adviser to Gates, was mysteriously named as a back-up executioner for Epstein's will. What's more, Melanie Walker, a former Gates Foundation employee, would go on to become a scientific adviser to Epstein (whom she had known since 1992). Other names have surfaced as well. Nathan Myhrvold, Microsoft's chief technology officer during the late 1990s, appears to have had links to Epstein going back to that era. Elsewhere Linda Stone, who worked with Myhryold at Microsoft (where she eventually became a vice-president) during the 1990s, had also had links to Epstein since at least the early 00s. So, the Epstein/Microsoft connection is very much a thing.
But with a looming divorce, the stakes have been upped. Thus, The Daily Beast has acquired access to such money quotes as this nugget Bill Gates dispatched to the Gates Foundation stuff via email concerning Epstein: "His lifestyle is very different and kind of intriguing although it would not work for me."
Gates' handlers were quick to insist that Bill was only referring to Epstein's "unique décor” and his habit of "spontaneously bringing acquaintances in to meet Mr. Gates.” Sure he was. The décor no doubt played a leading role in Mr. Gates ponying up $2 million to MIT's Media Lab in 2014, alleging with Epstein facilitating the transaction. Perhaps the décor also played a role in Mr. Gates abruptly breaking off relations with Mr. Epstein by the end of that year.
But more likely, it was Mrs. Gates. Bill Gates' relationship with Epstein allegedly "still haunts Melinda." Reportedly, her decision to divorce Bill was spurred by the Epstein revelations of 2019. If this is as much a sore spot as the nuggets leaked by her camp indicate it is, some real fireworks are probably on the horizon.
It also brings the long-simmering Epstein scandal back into play in a big way. Gates is the second high profile figure linked to Epstein to become ensnared in a scandal this year already. As was noted before here, Andrew Cuomo is currently fighting for his political life due to his own long-simmering sex scandals. The Cuomo-Epstein links have been kept on the backburner a bit thus far, but with the Gates thing breaking, it's something to keep an eye on.
![]() |
Andrew Cuomo |
What's especially interesting about these revelations is how visibly linked Cuomo and Gates are to the neo-liberal/Davos response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Gates in particular has been leading the charge for mass vaccination since literally onset of the pandemic. How is the "Trust the Science" crowd going to respond to accounts of Gates actively abusing teenage girls with his pal Epstein?
And what if it doesn't stop there? As I've been emphasizing since 2019, virtually the entire field of celebrity scientists are compromised by links to Epstein. Even Stephen Hawking had ties to Epstein, for God's sake.
![]() |
Hawking visiting Epstein's private island |
What's more, it's not just the personal lives of these scientists that were compromised by Epstein. For much of the twenty-first century, most of Epstein's efforts revolved around funding scientific research. Incidentally, this is one aspect of the Epstein scandal that no one wants to touch. Little has come out concerning it and the little that has is designed to make these pursuits sound as foolish as possible. Need I remind you of the "revelation" that Epstein wished to cryogenically freeze his penis?
The MSM efforts to mock Epstein's scientific research when not downplaying it is a dead giveaway as to how serious it really was. And what if people start asking hard questions about such things while the neo-liberal COVID response in full swing?
That is certainly a very interesting question and raises some additional compelling ones. Most notably, why would the Davos crowd tap someone like Gates or Cuomo to take such a visible lead while Epstein hung as a Sword of Damocles over them? And the same is true of virtually all the other arch globalists backing the Davos COVID response. Seriously, Jeff Bezos? Eric Schmidt? Ghislaine Maxwell already started talking up her relationship with either men last summer. What else will she have to say in the coming months?
![]() |
Ghislaine (right) was arrested abruptly in July 2020 after hiding out for nearly a year. When the FBI finally dropped by the arrest her, they found her being guarded by a team of SAS veterans |
The use of Gates as the front man for these efforts is increasingly baffling in this context. The Epstein/Gates connection already surfaced in a big way in 2019, to the point that Melinda allegedly began contemplating divorce shortly thereafter. And yet no one foresaw this train wreck unfolding? It's even more interesting that the looming divorce was kept under wraps until after Trump left office.
While this no doubt aided Biden in getting elected, if more Epstein/Gates revelations are forthcoming, it's not going to make the country any more governable. Further, given the extent to which the Democratic Party embraced figures like Cuomo and Gates during the horrors of 2020, it could cause serious branding issues going forward. The same goes for the Davos crowd.
Was this simply hubris? A delusional sense of invincibility? A belief that anything would be excused in the name of getting Trump out of office? Well, the Orange One is gone. And it's looking like the chicks are just now starting to come home to roost.
Or was someone anticipating, even banking, on the Davos crowd reacting in the fashion that they have (read: LARPing every conspiracy theory former Office of Naval Intelligence officer William Milton Cooper ever disseminated to the point of becoming comic book super villains)? There's no question the neo-liberal order has been in decline for some time now and the rise of Trump and Brexit in the Anglo-American heartlands no doubt invoked a sense of desperation amongst the Davos set. All the stops were pulled out in a sad attempt to reverse the course of history.
The end result is to have made these United States, the linchpin of the neo-liberal order, all but ungovernable and rapidly approaching a massive economic downturn. Large swaths of the country consider Biden to be an illegitimate president and those numbers will only grow as investigations into voter fraud continue. If the Epstein thing is taken to it's logical conclusion, what little credibility the scientific community and leading Democrats have left with the public at large will be gone. Interesting times indeed, and I increasingly suspect that was the plan all along.
In today's Farm episode, returning guest James Scaminaci III makes his case for the events of January 6th being a full-blown coup attempt orchestrated by the Oath Keepers and Proud Boys. Over the course of this interview we cover the background of the Oath Keepers; the command & control structure used by both groups that day; their battle plan; and most importantly, explain what the objective was. From there, we get into whether the security was adequate. the strange series of events involving General Charles Flynn (the brother of Michael) on the 6th, and a general account of the military's behavior that day.
James has also graciously allowed me to republish the diagrams he's drawn up to explain the strategy of the Oath Keepers and Proud Boys as well as his written responses to my questions. Note: This is not an actual transcript of the interview, but notes Scaminaci made for the interview. I thought reposting them would provide further insight. As always, I hope you guys enjoy.
Questions
Okay, to start off with, let's talk some Oath Keepers for a moment. John Brisson and I did a show on the Proud Boys last year, so my listeners have some degree of familiarity with them. We haven't touched on the Oath Keepers yet, though I expect a full length expose' is in the near future. For now though, could you give us a quick rundown of the organization's history?
THE OATH KEEPERS ARE A PRODUCT OF A “SECRET” RON PAUL AND GARY NORTH STRATEGY DEVELOPED IN 2008 THAT INCLUDED STARTING A VERSION OF THE TEA PARTY MOVEMENT. RHODES WAS PART OF THE RON PAUL PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN AND HE IS THE FOUNDER OF OATH KEEPERS. I EXPLAINED IN A PAPER THAT EARLY ON RHODES HAD BEEN INVOLVED IN SETTING UP WITH RICHARD MACK WHAT BECAME THE CONSTITUTIONAL SHERIFFS AND PEACE OFFICERS ASSOCATION OR CSPOA.
WHAT MAKES THE OATH KEEPERS UNIQUE IS THAT THEY OPENLY RECRUIT ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY AND POLICE, AS WELL AS VETERANS AND RETIRED MILITARY AND POLICE. THEIR OBJECTIVE IS TO PRODUCE A FIFTH COLUMN OF CHAOS AGENTS WITHIN THE MILITARY AND LAW ENFORCEMENT. THEY WANT TO USE ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY AND POLICE TO BREACH THE OPERATIONAL SECURITY OF THEIR UNITS.
ALL THE OATH KEEPERS TEN ORDERS THEY WILL NOT OBEY ARE ABOUT HELPING A STATE TO SECEDE FROM THE UNION. THEY ARE NOT ABOUT THE NEW WORLD ORDER. THOSE TEN ORDERS MAY COME WRAPPED AROUND OR WITHIN THE NEW WORLD ORDER CONSPIRACY THEORY, BUT THAT IS NOT THE PURPOSE OF THOSE TEN ORDERS.
ONE WOULD HOPE THAT EVENTUALLY PEOPLE WHO REPORT ON THE OATH KEEPERS WILL FIGURE THIS BASIC FACT OUT.
THEY PROMOTE THE IMAGE THAT THEY ARE REMAINING FAITHFUL TO THEIR OATHS, THAT THEY ARE WALKING HAND-IN-HAND WITH THE FOUNDING FATHERS, AND THAT THEY ARE THE LAST LINE OF DEFENSE IN GUARDING THE REPUBLIC. IT IS SIMPLY NOT TRUE.
THEY ARE A FOURTH GENERATION WARFARE ELEMENT WITHIN THE PATRIOT SPHERE TIED TO THE CHRISTIAN RIGHT AND DESIGNED TO UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMACY OF THE MILITARY AND LAW ENFORCEMENT, AND CERTAINLY JEOPARDIZE THEIR OPERATIONAL SECURITY.
While both organizations are militant, the Proud Boys and Oath Keepersclearly have different approaches to combat. Can you briefly address the difference in tactics?
THE PROUD BOYS ARE STREET FIGHTERS. THEY ARE THE ONES IN DIRECT CONFLICT WITH ANTIFA IN STREET BATTLES. THEY ARE THE RIGHT-WING’S HEAVY INFANTRY. THEY HAVE BEEN DESCRIBED AS THE “FIGHTING ARM” OF THE REPUBLICAN PARTY. IF YOU ARE A RIGHT-WINGER AND WANTING TO PUT FIST-TO-CHIN, THEN THE PROUD BOYS WOULD BE THE GROUP TO JOIN.
STEWART RHODES PUT THE OATH KEEPERS INTO AN OPERATIONAL STRAIT JACKET. THEY HAVE TO BE SEEN, AT LEAST UP UNTIL JANUARY 6, 2021, AS UPHOLDING THEIR OATHS TO DEFEND THE CONSTITUTION. THEY CAN PROVIDE SECURITY AT PROUD BOYS STREET BRAWLS BECAUSE THEY DO NOT PERCEIVE THE PROUD BOYS AS WHITE NATIONALIST OR WHITE SUPREMACIST OR AS NEO-NAZIS.
THE OATH KEEPERS GO TO THESE STREET PROTESTS, WHETHER THEY ERUPT IN FIGHTS OR NOT, TO PROVIDE “SECURITY” FOR BOTH SIDES. TO “PROTECT FREE SPEECH.” RHODES WANTS TO PRETEND THAT THE OATH KEEPERS ARE NEUTRAL PROTECTORS. THEY GO ARMED WITH LONG BARREL WEAPONS THAT, IF THEY USED, THEY WOULD BE ARRESTED FOR MURDER OR MANSLAUGHTER.
SO, THEY LOOK TOUGH IN THEIR TACTICAL OUTFITS AND LONG BARREL WEAPONS. THEY LOOK LIKE THEY ARE DOING SOMETHING BY BEING PRESENT. BUT THEY ARE LARGELY BYSTANDERS. IN TERMS OF A STREET FIGHT, THE OATH KEEPERS ARE ESSENTIALLY USELESS.
AND BECAUSE OF THESE DIFFERENCES IN FIGHTING CULTURE AND TACTICS, THE OATH KEEPERS NEED THE PROUD BOYS ON JANUARY 6. AND I THINK THE PROUD BOYS NEED THE OATH KEEPERS ON JANUARY 6.
Let's go over the command and control structures used by the Proud Boys and the Oath Keepers during the Capitol riots. We'll start with the Proud Boys. What kind of communications were they using, where was the command center, and so forth?
PROUD BOYS USED SEVERAL COMMUNICATION PLATFORMS, THOUGH THE FBI HAS RELIED PRIMARILY, ALMOST EXCLUSIVELY ON THE TWO TELEGRAM CHANNELS: “NEW MOSD” AND “BOOTS ON THE GROUND.” THE FBI DISCLOSED TO NORDEAN’S DEFENSE THAT THEY EXTRACTED OVER 200,000 PDF PAGES OF TELEGRAM MESSAGES. SO, WHAT IS IN THE PUBLIC RECORD IS AN EXTREMELY SMALL FRACTION OF THOSE MESSAGES.
THE “NEW MOSD” CHANNEL HAD LESS THAN 10 PARTICIPANTS. “NEW MOSD” WAS RESERVED FOR THE LEADERSHIP. THE “BOOTS ON THE GROUND” HAD AT LEAST 60 PARTICIPANTS. THE PROUD BOYS ALSO DISTRIBUTED SOME BAOFENG RADIOS. THEY ALSO USED THE ZELLO APPLICATION, BUT WE DO NOT KNOW WHICH CHANNEL THEY USED, IF THEY DID.
OATH KEEPERS ALSO USED THE ZELLO APPLICATION, BUT THAT WAS FOR DECEPTION BROADCASTS, NOT OPERATIONAL BROADCASTS.
THE FBI DISCLOSED THAT AT LEAST TWO PROUD BOYS—UNINDICTED CO-CONSPIRATOR-1 AND PERSON-2 WERE AT AN UNSPECIFIED LOCATION MONITORING ALL PROUD BOYS AND OTHER COMMUNICATIONS.
How about the Oath Keepers?
THE OATH KEEPERS KEPT THEIR QUICK REACTION FORCE AT THE COMFORT INN BALLSTON IN ARLINGTON, VA.
THE ACTUAL LOCATION OF THEIR TACTICAL OPERATIONS CENTER IS NOT KNOWN.
DURING THE ATTACK, THE OATH KEEPERS USED A SIGNAL CHANNEL: “DC OP JAN 6 21.” THEY APPARENTLY USED THIS SIGNAL CHANNEL BEFORE, DURING, AND AFTER THE JANUARY 6 ATTACK.
THEY ALSO USED THE “GO TO MEETING” APPLICATION TO DO PRE-ATTACK COORDINATION AMONG VARIOUS OATH KEEPERS LEADERS IN FLORIDA AND AROUND THE COUNTRY.
Now, you think both outfits had their command and control centers near one another, correct?
IT IS CERTAINLY POSSIBLE THAT THEY HAD TWO DIFFERENT, NOT CO-LOCATED TACTICAL OPERATIONS CENTERS. BUT I THINK THE PHONE CALLS THAT PERSON TEN MADE TO JOSHUA JAMES SUGGEST THAT HE WAS GETTING INFORMATION FROM THE PROUD BOYS IN NEAR REAL-TIME, SUGGESTING TO ME THAT PERSON TEN WAS EITHER INSIDE THE PROUD BOYS TACTICAL OPERATIONS CENTER OR HE WAS A SILENT PARTICIPANT ON THEIR “NEW MOSD” SIGNAL CHANNEL.
FOR EXAMPLE, AT 1414H JOSHUA JAMES SAYS ON THE OATH KEEPERS SIGNAL CHANNEL: “THEY HAVE TAKEN GROUND AT THE CAPITOL.” THAT COMES ABOUT ONE MINUTE AFTER HE HAD RECEIVED A PHONE CALL FROM PERSON TEN. WE KNOW THAT THE PROUD BOYS WERE IN THE CAPITOL BUILDING BY 1414H.
DOMINIC PEZZOLA BEGINS SMASHING THE WINDOWS IN THE NORTHWEST COURTYARD AROUND 1412H. JUST BEHIND HIM IS PROUD BOY LEADER JOSEPH BIGGS WHO USES THE “NEW MOSD” CHANNEL. BIGGS IS APPARENTLY DIRECTING THE TRANSIENT 2 ATTACK. BY 1413H PEZZOLA IS THROUGH THE WINDOW SO IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN OBVIOUS TO THE PROUD BOYS LEADERS ON THE “NEW MOSD” CHANNEL THAT THE BREACH WAS IMMINENT AND THE MAGA RIOTERS WITH THEM WERE ABOUT TO ENTER THE BUILDING. BIGGS WALKS THROUGH THE DOOR AT ABOUT 1414H.
THUS IT IS REALLY CURIOUS THAT AT 1414H JOSHUA JAMES IS COMMUNICATING WITH ALL THE OTHER OATH KEEPERS ON THEIR SIGNAL CHANNEL, “THEY HAVE TAKEN GROUND AT THE CAPITOL” AND THAT IT IS TIME TO GET THE VIP SECURITY DETAIL READY TO GO.
You believe the Oath Keepers even had their ground commander in the Proud Boy's Tactical Operations Command, correct?
I DO.
Okay, so take us through the Proud Boys' recon efforts at the onset of the protests on January 6th.
AT 1000H, ALL THE PROUD BOYS MEET AT THE WASHINGTON MONUMENT FOR A SHORT BRIEFING. CHARLES DONOHOE, ONE OF THE TOP PROUD BOYS LEADERS, IS AT THE MONUMENT MAYBE 90 MINUTES BEFOREHAND WITH ABOUT 15 OTHER PROUD BOYS.
SHORTLY AFTER 1000H, ALL THE PROUD BOYS LEAVE THE WASHINGTON MONUMENT AND BEGIN WALKING TOWARDS THE CAPITOL BUILDING.
ON FIGURE 15, YOU SEE THEY REACH UNION SQUARE AT 1113H. BY THE WAY, THESE TIMES ARE TAKEN FROM THE EDDIE BLOCK VIDEOS THAT INSURGENT HUNTER POSTED AT THE JANUARY 6 EVIDENCE WEBSITE. I USED THE START AND STOP OF THE SEGMENTS AS THE APPROXIMATION OF TIME.
THEY THEN MARCH WITH A VERY LARGE CROWD, MAYBE 200 PEOPLE, MAYBE A BIT MORE OR A BIT LESS TO THE PEACE MONUMENT ON THE PENNSYLVANIA WALKWAY. THAT IS THE LOCATION OF TRANSIENT 1. THEY WILL RETURN TO THIS VERY LOCATION AT 1253H TO LAUNCH THE ATTACK AGAINST THE USCP POLICE AND CAPITOL BUILDING. FACING THE CAPITOL BUILDING FROM THE PEACE MONUMENT TO THEIR LEFT IS THE NORTHWEST STAIRS. THAT IS TRANSIENT 2. SO, ON THIS PART OF THE MARCH THEY CAN SEE AT LEAST TRANSIENT 1 AND HAVE AN IDEA WHERE TRANSIENT 2 IS.
THEY THEN WALK DOWN CONSTITUTION AVENUE, TURN RIGHT, WALK ON THE LAWN AND ARRIVE CLOSE TO THE EAST PLAZA CENTER STEPS WHICH LEAD TO THE COLUMBUS DOORS. THAT IS TRANSIENT 3. THEY THEN POSE FOR AN ICONIC PHOTO TAKEN BY JON CHERRY OF GETTY IMAGES.
THEY RETURN TO CONSTITUTION AVENUE AND EAT AT THE FOOD TRUCKS. THEY KEEP GOING BACK TOWARD THE PEACE MONUMENT AND AT 1253H START THE ATTACK AND AT 1255H INCITE THE CROWD TO ATTACK THE USCP AT THE SECOND POLICE BARRIER.
THE OATH KEEPERS DO NO RECONNAISSANCE. THEY KEEP TO THEIR COVER STORY THAT THEY WERE THERE TO PROVIDE SECURITY FOR VIPS. SO, THEY SIT IN THE VIP SECTION AND LISTEN TO ONE SPEECH AFTER ANOTHER. AT EXACTLY 1253H, ACCORDING TO THE NEW YORK TIMES, AN UNIDENTIFIED OATH KEEPER THE FBI CALLS #228, LEADS THE OATH KEEPERS OUT IN THE MIDDLE OF TRUMP’S SPEECH. THEY MARCH DOWN CONSTITUTION AVENUE AND WAIT ON THE LAWN OR THE TARMAC ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE CAPITOL. AND THEY WAIT FOR SOMETHING TO HAPPEN. NUMBER #228 AT 1400H IS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE CENTRAL EAST STEPS WITH KEN HARRELSON. THOSE TWO WILL EVENTUALLY GUIDE “THE STACK” LED BY KELLY MEGGS UP THE STAIRS TO AND THROUGH THE COLUMBUS DOORS ON TRANSIENT 3.
AND I ARGUE IN THE PAPER THAT THIS BIZARRE BEHAVIOR—SIMPLY SITTING AROUND WAITING FOR SOMETHING TO HAPPEN—MAKES NO SENSE UNLESS THEY HAD PRE-PLANNED AND PRE-COORDINATED WITH THE PROUD BOYS.
Now, you've argued that the Proud Boys were behind the initial assault on the capital that resulted in the breach. Can you take us through how they managed this?
THEY INCITE THE CROWD, SPECIFICALLY THERE IS A RYAN SAMSEL WHO IS INDICTED FOR MAKING THE FIRST BREACH PAST THE PLASTIC FENCING TO THE SECOND BARRIER OF BIKE RACKS WHERE HE ALLEGEDLY KNOCKS A USCP INTO A CONCUSSION. THAT IS AT 1255H. THE CROWD THEN SURGES UP TO THE THIRD BARRIER OF BIKE RACKS WHERE WILLIAM PEPE AND ANOTHER PROUD BOY DISMANTLE THOSE RACKS. AND THEN THE CROWD COMES FACE-TO-FACE TO WITH THE FIRST LINE US CAPITOL POLICE AT THE LOWER WEST PLAZA STEPS. RYAN SAMSEL RE-APPEARS TO ENRAGE THE CROWD. PROUD BOYS LEADERS AND MEMBERS ARE IN THE CLOSE VICINITY TO A NUMBER OF FIGHTS INVOLVING A GUY NAMED CHRISTOPHER QUAGLIN. IT IS NOT CLEAR WHETHER HE IS BEING INCITED BY THE PROUD BOYS OR HE IS COORDINATING WITH THEM. IT CERTAINLY APPEARS TO BE COORDINATED FIGHTING.
FOR THE NEXT HOUR OR SO, THERE IS A LOT OF YELLING AT THE POLICE. SOME SKIRMISHES. SOME ESCALATION IN THE FIGHTING. AND FINALLY THE PROUD BOYS SLIDE FROM THAT CONFRONTATION TO THE NORTHWEST STAIRS AND BREACH THE POLICE LINES ON THE WAY TO THE NORTHWEST COURTYARD AND THE BREACH ON THE SENATE SIDE OF THE BUILDING.
The Oath Keepers do not appear to have been present when the assault began. Rather, they were observing Trump's speech at the Ellipse. They appear to have begun to depart once word of the capital assault reached them. From there, they headed towards the rioting in what you describe as a "stack" formation. What is that?
A STACK FORMATION IS A MILITARY OR POLICE FORMATION WHERE THE PERSONNEL ARE LINED UP DIRECTLY BEHIND EACH OTHER. IT IS USED TO TRAVERSE WALLS OR TO ENTER ROOMS. SINCE THE SOLDIERS ARE ARMED, THEY MAY HAVE THEIR WEAPONS CLOSE TO THE SHOULDER OF THE PERSON IN FRONT OF THEM. FOR THE OATH KEEPERS, IT MADE SENSE TO USE THAT FORMATION TO SNAKE THEIR WAY THROUGH THE CROWD ON THE EAST CENTRAL PLAZA STEPS SO THAT THEY KEPT TOGETHER AND DID NOT LOSE ANYONE GOING UP THE STAIRS.
Now, these Oath Keepers were effectively a full-blown paramilitary force and kitted accordingly. What was their role?
APPARENTLY, SINCE THEIR IMMEDIATE OBJECTIVE WAS TO GET TO THE SENATE CHAMBER, IT APPEARS THAT THEY WERE GOING TO ARREST SENATORS. CERTAINLY, THAT COMES ACROSS ON A ZELLO MESSAGE TO WATKINS.
BUT AS TO THEIR SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE ONCE THEY ENTERED I THINK IT WAS GENERALLY TO STOP THE CERTIFICATION OF THE ELECTORAL COUNT. I DO BELIEVE THEY MAY HAVE INTENDED TO ARREST SOME SENATORS.
You believe the overall battle plan was modeled upon the Battle of Leuctra, which was fought between Thebes and Sparta in 371 BC. Can you give us an overview of that battle first?
IT IS AN EXAMPLE OF A SINGLE ENVELOPMENT ATTACK. BUT WHAT MAKES IT SPECIAL IS HOW AN OUTNUMBERED FORCE USES THE UNEQUAL DISTRIBUTION OF POWER TO BEAT A LARGER FORCE. ESSENTIALLY, THEY PRODUCE THEIR STRENGTH AGAINST THEIR OPPONENT’S WEAKNESS TO BREAK THROUGH THE ENEMY AND THEN ATTACK AND DESTROY THE ENEMY FROM THE REAR. WHICH IS ESSENTIALLY WHAT THE PROUD BOYS AND THE OATH KEEPERS ATTEMPTED TO DO.
IN FACT, KELLY MEGGS IN FACEBOOK MESSAGES SENT TO A PRESUMABLY VERY TRUSTED PERSON EXPLAINED A SINGLE-ENVELOPMENT TWO-TRANSIENT ATTACK. IN THAT ATTACK, THE OATH KEEPERS WOULD BE MARCHING BEHIND THE PROUD BOYS, SWING AROUND PAST THE POLICE AND ANTIFA, AND ATTACK ANTIFA FROM THE REAR.
IF YOU SUBSTITUTE CAPITOL BUILDING FOR ANTIFA, IT IS CLEAR WHAT KELLY MEGGS IS DESCRIBING.
So, how did the Oath Keepers and Proud Boys adopt it for the siege of the capital?
STEWART RHODES, NOW FAMOUS FOR BEING “PERSON ONE,” WAS DEEPLY INVOLVED IN THE EVENTS ON JANUARY 6 AND BEFORE JANUARY 6.
THE QUICK REACTION FORCE IN WASHINGTON DC WAS HIS IDEA. HE ADVOCATED FOR A QRF IN DC FOR THE NOVEMBER “STOP THE STEAL” RALLY. THERE WAS PROBABLY A QRF IN DC FOR THE DECEMBER RALLY.
HE APPOINTED “PERSON TEN” TO BE THE OVERALL COMMANDER FOR THE JANUARY 6 ATTACK.
DURING THE ATTACK, HE CALLED FOR AND SENT A PHOTOGRAPH TO THE OATH KEEPERS ON THEIR SIGNAL CHAT TO COME TO THE SOUTHEAST STEPS. IT IS A MOVE WHICH MADE NO TACTICAL SENSE WHATSOEVER. FROM 1359H, WHEN THE CROWD ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE CAPITOL BREACHED THE POLICE BARRIERS, THEY IGNORED BOTH THE NORTHEAST AND THE SOUTHEAST STEPS AND WENT STRAIGHT FOR THE CENTRAL STEPS LEADING TO THE COLUMBUS DOORS AND THEN INTO THE ROTUNDA.
In reading your analysis, I'm left with the impression that the principal purpose of the Proud Boys was to provide a diversion, clearing the way for the more elite Oath Keepers to attack the Capitol at one of its more vulnerable points. Is that what you were NATION THAT THE OATH KEEPERS AND THE PROUD BOYS DEVELOPED A JOINT PLAN Ttrying to convey, and if so, does this indicate that the Oath Keepers were likely the ones directing the Proud Boys?
I ARGUE IN PART 5 ON PLANNING AND COORDIO ATTACK THE CAPITOL BUILDING.
KELLY MEGGS IN ABOUT 3 FACEBOOK MESSAGES TO PRESUMABLY TRUSTED PERSONS STATED AS FACT THAT HE HAD “ORGANIZED AN ALLIANCE” BETWEEN THE OATH KEEPERS, FLORIDA 3%ERS, AND THE PROUD BOYS. THEY HAD AGREED TO “WORK TOGETHER” TO “SHUT DOWN THIS SHIT.”
HE THEN STATED ON FACEBOOK THAT “WE HAVE ORCHESTRATED A PLAN WITH THE PROUD BOYS.”
IN THE DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE FILING ON KELLY MEGGS, THE DOJ 4 TIMES USES THE WORD “COORDINATION” TO DESCRIBE WHAT MEGGS AND THE OATH KEEPERS ACCOMPLISHED.
BUT COORDINATION IS NOT THE CORRECT WORD.
ORCHESTRATED DOES NOT MEAN COORDINATED. TO ORCHESTRATE MEANS TO DEVELOP A FINAL PRODUCT, LIKE A MUSICAL SCORE OR COMPOSITION, THAT IS READY TO BE PLAYED. TO ORCHESTRATE IS TO DEVELOP A PLAN A COURSE OF ACTION TO ACCOMPLISH A SPECIFIC TASK.
ORCHESTRATION IS ABOUT A FINAL PRODUCT. AND THAT FINAL PRODUCT IN THIS CASE WAS A JOINT PLAN TO ATTACK THE CAPITOL BUILDING ON JANUARY 6.
AND MEGGS STATED AS A FACT THAT THIS “ORCHESTRATION” WAS DONE IN COMMUNICATIONS WITH ENRIQUE TARRIO, HEAD OF THE PROUD BOYS. THEY REDACTED TARRIO’S NAME, BUT HE IS THE ONLY LEADER OF THE PROUD BOYS.
SO, THE OATH KEEPERS AND PROUD BOYS ARE EQUAL PARTNERS IN THIS ORCHESTRATION OF A PLAN. IT IS A JOINT PLAN THAT WILL BE JOINTLY EXECUTED. THAT IS MY ARGUMENT.
IT IS THE MAGA CROWD THAT IS THE DIVERSION. HAD IT NOT BEEN FOR THE AGITATION OF THE PROUD BOYS ON TRANSIENT 1 ON THE WEST SIDE OF THE CAPITOL, THE MAGA CROWD PROBABLY WOULD HAVE BEEN CONTENT TO SCREAM AT THE POLICE AND THINK THAT IS WHAT TRUMP WANTED THEM TO DO.
THE PROUD BOYS AND OATH KEEPERS KNEW WHAT THEY HAD TO DO. THEY HAD TO BREACH THE CAPITOL BUILDING IN ORDER TO “SHUT THIS SHIT DOWN.” YOU COULD ONLY “STOP THE STEAL” FROM INSIDE THE CAPITOL BUILDING.
THE PROUD BOYS I THINK WERE CAREFUL NOT TO ASSAULT THE USCP AND MPD. ONLY WILLIAM CHRESTMAN IS SEEN SPRAYING THE POLICE WITH A CHEMICAL SPRAY. ONLY 3 PROUD BOYS ARE SEEN DESTROYING PROPERTY.
I AM NOT SAYING THAT TO MEAN THAT THE PROUD BOYS WERE BEING POLITE TOWARDS THE POLICE. I AM SAYING THAT THEIR PRIMARY MISSION WAS TO STOP THE CERTIFICATION OF THE ELECTORAL COLLEGE VOTE. THEIR SECONDARY MSSION WAS TO BREACH THE BUILDING. THEIR TERTIARY MISSION WAS TO INCITE THE CROWD TO A SUSTAINABLE LEVEL OF VIOLENCE.
THERE IS A TELEGRAM CHAT INVOLVING THREE PROUD BOYS LEADERS IN WHICH THEY ARE PLANNING TO INCITE THE MAGA CROWD. ONE LEADER STATES HE WANTS TO SEE “THOUSANDS OF NORMIES BURN THAT CITY TO ASH.” ANOTHER WANTS TO SEE THEM “SMASH SOME PIGS TO DUST.” AND A THIRD CLAIMS, “LET THEM LOOSE” IN RESPONSE TO AN EARLIER CLAIM THAT THE MAGA ARE A “PACK OF WILD DOGS” WITH “NO ADRENALINE CONTROL.”
THUS, ENRAGEMENT OF THE MAGA CROWD WAS ONE MISSION, NOT ASSAULTING THE POLICE THEMSELVES.
THE ONLY ACT OF VIOLENCE BY THE PROUD BOYS THAT MADE TACTICAL AND STRATEGIC SENSE WAS DONE BY PEZZOLA WHEN HE SMASHED OPEN THE WINDOWS AT THE NORTHWEST COURTYARD. PEZZOLA ACHIEVED THE INITIAL BREACH OF THE CAPITOL BUILDING ITSELF.
ONCE THE PROUD BOYS ENTERED THE BUILDING THROUGH THE NORTHWEST COURTYARD’S DOORS THEY MADE TWO TACTICAL MISTAKES THAT TURNED INTO CATASTROPHIC STRATEGIC FAILURES.
ONE, PEZZOLA GOES UP THE STAIRS TOWARDS THE SENATE CHAMBER AND FOLLOWS OFFICER GOODMAN TO OBLIVION. HAD PEZZOLA TURNED RIGHT AND LED THE CROWD INTO THE SENATE CHAMBER, AT 1415H+ THE SENATE FLOOR WOULD HAVE BEEN FILLED WITH MAGA RIOTERS ON LIVE NATIONAL TELEVISION WITH DONALD TRUMP WATCHING. THAT WOULD HAVE CHANGED THE ENTIRE DYNAMIC OF THE ATTACK FOR ALL THREE SIDES: THE PROUD BOYS, OATH KEEPERS, AND THE MAGA RIOTERS; THE SECRET SERVICE AND LAW ENFORCEMENT; AND FOR DONALD TRUMP.
TWO, FOR SOME UNKNOWN REASON, JOSEPH BIGGS, WHO WAS APPARENTLY DIRECTING THE TRANSIENT 2 ATTACK, DID NOT IMMEDIATELY HEAD TO ROTUNDA, TURN LEFT, AND FORCE THE COLUMBUS DOORS OPEN WITH OTHER PROUD BOYS. HAD HE DONE THAT IMMEDIATELY, THE OATH KEEPERS ARE INTO THE CAPITOL BUILDING AT ABOUT 1430H IN TIME TO DASH INTO A SENATE CHAMBER FILLED WITH THE MAGA RIOTERS, PROUD BOYS, AND OTHER ELEMENTS.
SO, THE PROUD BOYS WERE IN NO WAY A DIVERSION. THEY HAD TO BREACH TRANSIENT 2 AND BREACH TRANSIENT 3 AND THEN SHUTTING DOWN THE ELECTORAL COUNT WOULD HAVE BEEN FAR MORE TERRIFYING AND DANGEROUS TO THE SENATORS AND VICE PRESIDENT PENCE.
THE ENTIRE DYNAMIC OF THE ATTACK WOULD HAVE CHANGED FOR DONALD TRUMP. HE WOULD LITERALLY HAVE BEEN STARING AT HIS TELEVISION SET AND SEEING VICTORY IN SIGHT. IF TRUMP WAS DELIGHTED AT THE VISUALS OF THE ATTACK ON THE BUILDING, IMAGINE HIS ECSTASY AT SEEING HIS “STAND BACK AND STAND BY” PROUD BOYS, THE QANON CONSPIRACY MOVEMENT, AND THE OATH KEEPERS INSIDE THE SENATE CHAMBER BEATING UP SENATORS, ATTEMPTING TO ARREST SENATORS, AND ACCUSING THE SENATORS OF TRYING TO INSTALL A PRO-COMMUNIST CHINA PUPPET GOVERNMENT IN THE HANDS OF JOE BIDEN AND KAMALA HARRIS.
In the latest subscribers' podcast, I'm rejoined by the great Christopher Knowles. For those of you living under a rock, he is the author of Our Gods Wear Spandex, The Secret History of Rock 'N' Roll, and most recently The Endless American Midnight. He has also written the novel He Will Live Up in the Sky and is the longtime curator of a little blog called The Secret Sun --You guys may have heard of it. Recently, he has also launched the Secret Sun Institute of Advanced Synchromysticism, which you should all sign up for ASAP.
For this wide-ranging discussion, we use Chris' legendary "Lucifer's Technologies" series as a launching point for the epic UFO Disclosure narrative currently unfolding. Along the way, we address the possibility of reverse-engineered technology, or whether it was acquired by "other means"; and the devastating effects technologically advanced societies have had on humanity. From there, we delve into the theories of Carl Raschke: UFOs as Agents of Cultural Deconstruction and Ultraterrestrials. This brings us to a fascinating discussion of the US Navy's epic role in molding the UFO narrative, along with various cults.
When we finally get around to current events, we jump into Robert Bigelow and the figures behind To the Stars Academy; Jacques Vallee and the strange beliefs of Ufologists; and where the Disclosure narrative may be heading. As a bonus, you also get to hear our epic musings on demonology and the prospect of mass possession in contemporary America. Fun times indeed folks.

Your SOCOM Update
The current nomination for the coveted Assistant Secretary of Defense for Special Operations and Low-Intensity Conflict (ASD SO/LIC) is a curious figure known as Christopher P. Maier. Maier was part of the purge at the DoD after the Orange One sacked Mark Esper and replaced him with Christopher C. Miller in the aftermath of 2020 election. Now, he's making his triumphant return as as the civilian head of the special operations forces (SOF).
Its a crucial time in the history of America special operations due to the debate over whether to elevate the US Special Operations Command (SOCOM) to its own branch of the military. This is an issue Trump forced through during the final months of his presidency and which Biden appears to be reversing course on. In theory, the SOCOM doesn't want to be its own branch of the military because it will face more civilian oversight. The ASD SO/LIC would be the one tasked with this additional oversight. Thus, Maier is poised to have a lot say over whether its a good idea, and, if the move is allowed to stand, what form this additional civilian oversight will take.

Maier |
Maier has exactly the type of background the Democratic Party is looking for: a mostly civilian one, firm links to the Obama administration, and national defense bona fides thanks to his role on the ISIS Task Force. Plus, he's perceived as having been persecuted by the Trump administration and has made a consorted effort to invoke the world "diversity" in virtually every public appearance he's made thus far.
In other words, Maier has exactly the kind of squeaky-clean image SOCOM needs right now in the aftermath of Trump and the ongoing scandal at Fort Bragg. Michael Flynn hasn't been helping matters either. Over Memorial Day weekend, he called for the military to launch a "Myanmar-style coup." Unless he didn't. Regardless, Flynn is a veteran of the Joint Special Operations Command. This puts him in similar company to virtually all of Trump's national security backers. As such, SOCOM would probably be the most likely component of the military to heed Flynn's suggestion.

Flynn |
While a good chunk of this clandestine army principally operates overseas, many are deployed domestically. And the domestic side could be poised for an even greater expansion. The Biden administration has already floated the possibility of using private companies to spy on " domestic extremists." This project would theoretically be overseen by the Department of Homeland Security. But the Pentagon is already bellyaching about "extremists" in its ranks as well as its inability to root them out.
Simply arresting Michael Flynn would probably go much further towards countering "extremists" domestically than funneling billions into the deep private. But what would be the fun in that when you could hire the current incarnation of Blackwater to combat "extremism"? I want my Theatre of the Absurd, dammit.

A Little Place Called Waco
There's just something about Waco, Texas, right? Consider: On May 17, 2015, Waco witnessed what was surely the most epic shootout between motorcycle gangs the nation has ever witnessed. The shootout occurred at a restaurant called Twin Peaks (seriously) and may have involved over 200 individuals. Waco Police and multiple motorcycle gangs exchanged fire. Remarkably, only nine people died.
The remarkable thing about the gun battle between the MCs and police is that it wasn't even the most significant modern shootout in the town. Not by a long shot. You guys know what I'm talking about.
David Koresh and his Branch Davidians were famously besieged there in 1993. Things came to a head on April 19th of that year, leaving Koresh and over 70 members of his sect dead at the hands of the federal government. The fiery death of Koresh and his followers, along with the Ruby Ridge shootout, would fuel a resurgence in the post-Cold War America militia movement and still remains a major staple of patriot mythos. Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh famously observed the Waco siege and would later use it as a justification.
Regardless, the Waco narrative (both Establishment and "alternative") has been back in the public consciousness in a big way recently. A lot of this revolves around Biden's nomination to head the right-wing bugaboo otherwise known as the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF), David Chipman. Prior to his nomination, Chipman made false claims about the Branch Davidians shooting down National Guard helicopters. Not to be undone, the alternate media accused Chipman of posing with a rifle in the flaming rubble of the Branch Davidian compound. This claim also appears to be false. Chipman's actually role in Waco remains murky as of this writing.

Chipman |
The recent psychodrama playing out in regards to Chipman's nomination is interesting in light of recent developments near Waco. See, another cult has set up shop. And it's a doozy. Officially known as the World Peace and Unification Sanctuary, the church is more commonly dubbed the "Rod of Iron Ministries." In truth, "Church of the Machine Gun" would be even more apt.
This sect is actually an offshoot of the infamous Unification Church of Reverend Sun Myung Moon. Long time readers of this blog are no doubt familiar with the Reverend Moon and his cult, which was a crucial nod in the international anti-communist network the US national security state crafted during the Cold War. For those of you just joining us, I recommend this epic Moonie account in The Farm's WACL series as a good starting point.

Sun Myung Moon |
This led Sean Moon to actively incorporate AR-15s into the church's rituals. The first minor media flap the cult generated centered around a February 2018 mass wedding ceremonially in which AR-15s were used prominently. "Incidentally," Moon's brother, Justin Moon, happens to be the CEO of Kahr Arms. Not that I'm suggesting that this is a cynical ploy to sell more arms or anything....

Not The Onion... |
As Vice reports, the Sanctuary Church has embraced Trumpism from its inception. Sean Moon has declared that Trump will rid the world of "political satanism" and that he is preparing for the coming "false-flag" deep state war. The church's recently procured compound near Waco factors into those activities. In a recent sermon, Sean Moon casually noted: "The internationalist Marxist globalists are trying to start a civil war here, so that they can bring in the U.N. troops and Chi-Com Chinese military to come in and destroy and kill all gun owners, Christians, and any opposition, i.e., Trump supporters. We are in the death of America right now, and that’s why, of course, God is allowing for our expansion.”
As to the later, Moon and his sect gained much needed street cred after turning up at the Capitol on January 6. He did not follow the Proud Boys and co into Congress, but managed to denounce authorities on Instagram as events were unfolding. Moon has subsequently compared Jan 6 to the Boston Tea Party. Since the Capitol insurrection, his speeches have become more "intense," often with warnings to followers that the Biden administration is plotting mass interment of Trump supporters, if not outright genocide. Moon himself has even begun to transform, taking on what has been described as a "biker-gang aesthetic."

Not The Onion... |
So, to recap: A newly empowered and emboldened ATF is getting a new director committed to vigorous action against gun trafficking. Said director seems to be ambiguous, at best, concerning the Waco siege. Elsewhere, a fringe cult that literally worships AR-15s (and supported by a family member who owns an arms company) relocates to an area near Waco and precedes to set up a compound.
Will they be storing firearms there???? Will they be attempting to sale any????
Uh, is the Pope Catholic?
Remember how I referred to Waco 1.0 as a clean-up operation? Think about that in light of this particular holdover from the Cold War 1.0. The possibilities are endless dear reader.
I must apologize for the lack of activity around these parts of late. As per usual usual, I've taken on an insane amount of projects and am presently scrambling to bring a few to a close. One of them is my next book, the first draft of which is almost complete. Elsewhere, ground has been broken on future projects that will hopefully open up opportunities in other mediums.
Speaking of other mediums, The Farm continues to grow. In addition to the weekly shows, there are two additional, subscriber-only ones per month with exclusive guests and content. Recent guests have included Concordia University professor Andre Gagne, as well as the return of the Penny Royal crew.
Professor Gagne and I explored various aspects of the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) movement and related ideologies. The NAR possesses an almost Medieval worldview. Emerging around the same time as the neo-Pagan movement in these United States, the NAR contributed in their own way to the Re-enchantment of the West. But whereas the neo-Pagans saw wonder, the NAR envisioned a world awash in angels, demons, and other principalities.
We also explore some of the most peculiar ritualism of the NAR, much of it related to their concept of spiritual warfare. Binding and other tools are noted, as well as the NAR's concept of "territorial spirits" and it's similarities to occultic concepts of egregores. Inevitably, we delve into the "Manifested Sons of God" and "Seven Mountains" concepts. This leads to a fascinating discussion concerning how the NAR and related movements will deal with Trump's defeat. The most compelling aspect of this conversation, however, is our discussion of language and translations. The NAR worldview has made phenomenal inroads to mainline Christian sects in this fashion. Words have power and this movement is well aware of this.

As for the Penny Royal guys, we get into a broad discussion of far right activity in the paraweird community, invoking many of the usual suspects: Michael A. Hoffman II, William Grimstead, James Shelby Downard, Adam Parfrey, and, inevitably, QAnon.
After a deep dive into Downard, we explore a cache of mysterious documents the Penny Royal crew acquired last year. They center around the enigmatic figure of Henry Fischer, a well-travelled confidence man with intelligence ties. The documents purport to link him to a host of intrigues and shadowy figures, including the Golden Lily, the Sovereign Order of Saint John, and Willis Carto of Liberty Lobby infamy. It's quite a story, and as a capper, my website was mentioned in the documents. Yes dear reader, this here blog you're currently browsing.

We also have an epic discussion of The Nine as a cult initiated by the US Navy, and the closely related Ra Materials. To wrap up, well delve into the Cybernetic Culture Research Unit, Accelerationism, AI's from the future, and the murky history of Bitcoin. It's quite an epic journey.
These are just the latest additions to the ever-growing roster of exclusive subscriber shows. Prior guests include Diana Walsh-Pasulka, Richard B. Adventures in Mormonland
Summer time is here and I've found myself traveling again. My destination was a curious one on many levels: Salt Lake City. Insert your favorite Mormon joke at this point. Certainly the Church of Latter Day Saints (LDS) provides much to snicker at, both spiritually, and across the vast landscape that is Utah. But I wasn't doing much laughing by the time my trip drew to a close.
It must be said that there is a certain vibrancy to SLC that cannot be denied. There's also a strong air of Stepford Wives, but that's hardly surprising. SLC is a crucial node within the national security state. This is especially true when it comes to continuity of government (COG). SLC's University of Utah was the fourth node in the original ARPAnet, the precursor to today's Internet. One of the original purposes of the ARPAnet was to serve as a military communications system in the aftermath of a nuclear exchange. In other words, it would enable the components of COG to communicate with one another.
![]() |
the U of U |
Also present near SLC is Camp W.G. Williams. This enigmatic base serves as the headquarters of the equally enigmatic 19th Special Forces Group. The 19th, along with the 20th, are the only two Special Forces groups designated as National Guard. This makes them no less elite, however. In point of fact, they're the only two Special Forces groups (officially) designed to operate in the domestic United States.
And what would spur these units to officially deploy in these United States? Why, a nuclear exchange, or something else that incapacitated the government. The 19th and 20th Special Forces groups would take the lead in the defending the US, and restoring order, in such circumstances. Officially.
![]() |
Camp Williams |
And it just so happens one of these two highly specialized Special Forces groups is headquartered about twenty miles south of SLC. Also housed at Camp Williams is the Utah Data Center. The precise mission of this outfit is classified. What is known is that this data centers services the entire US intelligence community and grew out of Comprehensive National Cybersecurity Initiative. The Utah Data Center has been described as the NSA's "Biggest Spy Center," and is believed to not only intercept communications (both foreign and domestic), but to be deeply involved in code breaking as well.
The Utah Data Center is certainly well placed for such activities. It looms over what has been dubbed the "Silicon Slopes," the vast tech sector emerging between SLC and Provo. Allegedly, it is one of the most vibrant tech communities in the nation. Perhaps this is why Cambridge Analytica looked to one of the most notable products of Silicon Slopes --Qualtrics --for its data mining efforts. If the Utah Data Center is any indication, that type of expertise is probably abundant in such a region.
And who could forget about Dugway? You know, the US Army's other chemical and biological warfare facility? Sure, Fort Detrick gets all the press, but this is probably due to the sheer isolation of Dugway. Located about 85 miles southwest of SLC, in the Great Salt Lake Desert, the Dugway Proving Grounds occupies an area roughly the size of Rhode Island. Yes, the entire state.
![]() |
Dugway |
To recap: SLC and the surrounding area were in on the ground floor of the ARPAnet. They house a Special Forces unit designed to implement COG protocols as well as one of national security state's largest data centers. And the nation's largest chemical/bio weapons facility in less than 90 miles to the south. Combine this with a religion in which doomsday prepping is a way of life, and you have all the ingredients for the Command Post at the End of the World. One can only marvel at the foresight of the military planners.
But enough about the shadow government. In an effort to further blur the lines between business and pleasure (and fiction and reality), I thought I'd chronicle some of the esoteric woo woo I encountered for this thing. This blog grew out of the synchromystical movement after all, meaning I have a soft spot for all things weird and occult America. And SLC is the perfect location to indulge in such things.
I live near the DC area and venture into the Capitol often. As such, I've spent my fair share of time contemplating the celebrated Masonic architecture there. And I'm here to say that SLC mounts a serious challenge to DC for the claim of "Most Masonic City in America." While the connection between Mormonism and Freemasonry is generally acknowledged, if grudgingly, nowadays, it is blatant at the spiritual heart of the religion.
Ritual Centers
Temple Square is one of the most Masonic and occulted stretches of these United States one is apt to encounter. At the heart of it is of course the Great Salt Lake Temple, truly a marvel of American architecture. Despite being in a state of renovation when I saw it, it was no less impressive:
There have been rumors for years that a vast underground network of tunnels exist beneath SLC. It is known that the LDS has an underground vault in which it houses the vast genealogical records the church has amassed over the years. There have been persistent rumors, since at least the 1980s, that something similar exists beneath the Great Salt Lake Temple. Curiously, these rumblings also provide us with the origins of the modern day reptilian tropes.
"... Branton is a former Mormon in his thirties, who grew up in 'the Southeast corner of Salt Lake Valley.' He claims to be an abductee who has had contact through 'altered states' of consciousness with human beings living in the inner earth... He admits that he has no conscious memory of the nonhuman species, but claims ' "intuitive" memories in the form of dreams and so on of being involved in some sort of government-alien interaction scenario, since a child.' The scenario contained elements developed in his writings, including treaties between the government and aliens, underground colonies of both human and nonhumans, and, of course, reptilians. He claims to have met a number of individuals in the Salt Lake City area who have had direct experience with this subterranean domain."
(A Culture of Conspiracy, Michael Barkun, pg. 123)
As Adam Gorightly reports in Saucers, Spooks, and Kooks, "Branton" (Bruce Alan De Walton) was part of a circle of Ufologists that also included Bill Hamilton, John Leer, Val Valerian (aka John Grace), and the one and only, William Milton Cooper. While the merit of the research done by these gentleman is a matter of some debate (to put it mildly), there's no disputing they've had a profound influence on Ufology. David Icke in particular owes much of his early shtick to Branton.
That alone should give one pause when considering claims of underground tunnels beneath SLC. And yet renovations to the Temple produced such sights:
They probably just need those for drainage or something....
The front of the temple is known for its rich symbolism. My camera could not do it justice.:
Here are the highlights:
At the southwest corner of Temple Square resides the Salt Lake Assembly Hall. It's directly across from the SLC Temple, and, inevitably, is not as impressive. But be assured, it's not without its symbolic charms:
To the north of the Temple Square is the LDS Conference Center:
In case you can't tell, this building is modeled upon the Hanging Gardens of Babylon.
Even deprived of water, the top was impressive when I viewed it. Note the ziggurat at the bottom left. Here's a closer view:
While it would be near impossible to top the downtown ritual center, one particular suburban effort makes quite the attempt. I am of course referring to the mysterious Gilgal Garden. As the story goes, LDS businessman Thomas Child constructed this project in his spare time. It's built in the midst of a suburban neighborhood in downtown SLC, and was walled off for years. Allegedly, Child didn't begin work on these sculptures until he was 57 years old and largely did them by himself.
This place is covered with inscriptions chiseled into the stone. Many of them allude to, if not directly reference, blood sacrifice.
***
On that note, we come to one of SLC's most (in)famous residents: serial killer Ted Bundy. Like many of the nation's most notorious serial killers, there seems to be much more to Bundy than what the official narrative allows. George from CavDef has done some incredible work on that end. Hopefully, George and I will be exploring Bundy much further on The Farm in the near future. Consider this a teaser.
Bundy relocated to SLC in 1974 to attend the University of Utah (yeah, the same one housing the ARPAnet). For the next two years, Bundy would use SLC as a base of operations while he hunted women both in the area, and in the neighboring states of Colorado and Idaho. Bundy briefly converted to Mormonism in 1975, and was later excommunicated from the church following a 1976 kidnapping conviction.
A whole mythos has grown up around Bundy in SLC. This has led to some outright fabrications in terms of locations involving the killer. Then there's "Bundy's Cellar" at stately Emigration Canyon. This spot is located a little outside of SLC proper. Brigham Young and the Mormon pioneers passed through it in 1848. A year earlier, the ill-fated Donner Party had made the scene. Naturally, a monument commemorates the Donner Party not far from Bundy's Cellar.

I've got some more field research for you guys. It involves one of the strangest spectacles I've ever witnessed. But first, some programming notes...
For the most recent subscribers' episode, I brought back one of my favorite researchers active today. He was the chief of graphics for Cicada 3301 during its mid-period. During this time he encountered figures such as Thomas Schoenberger and Defango, both of whom would later gain infamy thanks to QAnon. More recently his work on Q has been used by the likes of Vice and the HBO Q: Into the Storm docu-series. He also contributed to the TEDxMidAtlantic conference on Q. He is Arturo Tafoyovsky, aka Lestat.
For this round, I wanted to delve more into Ufology and the New Age, both of which are well represented in the QAnon saga. To this end, we tackle Gaia TV, Project Camelot, Foster Gamble, MUFON, and the curious figure of Tyroan Simpson, aka Frank Bacon. The latter had been grifting in UFO circles for years before hitching his cart to the "patriot" movement. Lestat also weighs in on the current Disclosure flap.
We cover a few other odds and sods, such as Jim Watkins, General Stanley McChrystal, and ARGs heavily utilizing themes of secret societies and the occult. The main event, however, is our epic discussion of Pizzagate. We cover Cicada 3301 (and possibly QAnon) puppetmaster Thomas Schoenberger's links to Nora Maccoby; Steve and Tanya Biss; and a host of other figures who turn up in that particular saga. For good measure, we even get into the links Sean Stone, son of the director Oliver, has to this network.
Its one long, strange trip kids. As always, I hope you enjoy and thanks for your support. And remember, this is just the latest addition to the ever-growing roster of exclusive subscriber shows. Prior guests include Diana Walsh-Pasulka, Richard B. Spence, Christopher Knowles, Douglas Valentine, Adam Gorightly, Greg Bishop, Walter Bosley, J. Michael "Doc Future" Bennett, Erica Lukes, Patriots' Soapbox's Radix Verum, David Metcalfe, Neil Sanders, Edmund Berger and Samuel Vandiver. Next up is the parapolitical legend Russ Bellant.
And now, for the main event...
The Weird and the Eerie
That's pretty much day to day life in these United States circa 2021, right? I had thought so to, but not after events that transpired this past Tuesday. That was truly weird, and truly eerie. But before getting to that, let's set the mood:
"I have been to one of their meetings!" a disheveled Philip Jeffries (David Bowie) pronounced to the hear-challenged Gordon Cole (David Lynch) as a confused Special Agent Dale Cooper (Kyle MacLachlan) looked on. This iconic scene from the Twin Peaksmovie Fire Walk With Me(1992) is one of the finest depictions of the Black Lodge and its inhabitants Lynch would grace the fanboys with until the miraculous third season of Twin Peaks rose from the ether in that oh-so-significant-of-years, 2017. Between the twenty-five years that separated the film from Twin Peaks' third season, Bowie's storied sequence and the phrase he uttered became a kind shorthand for encounters with the weird, the powerful, and the unknowable. Michael Malice enlists the "meetings" bit to describe his encounters with the Dark Enlightenment in The New Right: A Journey to the Fringe of American Politics. It was as apt a use as any I've seen.
I myself have steadfastly resisted using that expression. But after this past Captive Nations Week (July 18-24, 2021), I think I may have finally earned the right. Decide for yourselves as a I recount the annual Captive Nations summit sponsored by the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation (VOC).
Regular readers of this blog will probably not be surprised to learn that the VOC, like Captive Nations Week itself, is closely connected to the infamous World Anti-Communist League (WACL), an endlessly fascinating netherworld of diehard fascists, international gangsters, and "former" intelligence and military officers the world over. I've chronicled this outfit for years, beginning with a series of blogs in 2013 and continuing with a podcast series on The Farm that originally aired in 2020 and this year. If you haven't followed any of those efforts, check here to catch up on WACL.
Even in 2021, well over 60 years after efforts began to craft what became WACL, some of the movers-and-shakers linger. The 100-year-old General John K. Singlaub, a onetime WACL chairman, sits on the VOC's "national advisory council." Lee Edwards, a mere 89-years-old and a founding member of the Young Americans for Freedom (YAF), first became involved with WACL around 1970. Fittingly, he was a co-founder of VOC and presently serves as its chairman emeritus. He was present for Captive Nations festivities on July 20, 2021, where he introduced a Cuban hip hop video (seriously --more on that below).

At the edge of 17... |
Let's start with the latter. The Farm Podcast will not be returning to Podbean and there is no way I can recover it for the public. This is totally my own fault, and I sincerely apologize to all of you, and especially the subscribers, for this. Subscribers still have access to the regular Farm channel on Podbean as well as the patron for now. That will last till March 15th, at which point the Podbean Farm will totally disappear for everyone.
As for the good news, I am pleased to announce The Farm shall rise like the Phoenix from the ashes on a new, and better, platform. This is a change I've been wanting to make for some time. I know that Podbean is not the most popular platform, especially for the subscribers. To say nothing of all the spyware that comes with the app.
So, like most folks, I'm taking things over to Patreon. Starting February 28, 2022 (Monday), look for your weekly Farm episode at its new address. That being said, there are a few changes. For one, a good chunk of The Farm's back catalog will be taken into the subscribers section. I have left roughly 50 of the 200 or shows up for free. Many of these are classic Farm shows like the WACL series. So don't worry, many of your favorites are still available. I will gradually retire newer shows, however. Roughly after four months they shall ascend to the subscribers section, unless I deem them worthy of classic status.
Besides access to The Farm's back catalog (once I finish uploading it all, which I beg your patience for), you'll have much easier access to me as well, and a few other features that will be announced in the coming weeks. I'm very excited about some of these and I hope all you will join me on the new site. I again sincerely apologize to everyone for this massive fuck-up on my part. I can not undo what has been done, but I can invite you to a better version of The Farm.
If I could make one final request of you all, please help spread the word of The Farm's new address! Thank you guys so much!!!
The long promised additional tier at The Farm's Patreon has finally arrived!!! With this, you'll get additional content, including solo State of the Union shows wirh Recluse, entries in the "Dispatches..." series, and other materials related to ongoing investigations. There'll be at least two of these per month, but I'll try for more as time permits.
As an added bonus, you'll also get to partake in monthly Zoom parties. I'll be there of course, but I'll strive to have at least one special guest join me for these things. John Brisson of We've Read the Documents, the Penny Royal crew, and some of The Farm's go-to guests are already confirmed to drop by. I'm still working out the format, but tentatively we'll start with a brief discussion between myself and the guest on a topic of interest, then I'll open it up to the community. Ask questions, give me music recommendations, whatever. In true Discordian fashion, these things will be held on the 17th of each month, unless otherwise noted. And yes, they will run from 9:23 PM EST till 11: 23 PM EST. Hail Eris!
To kick things off, Brisson and Billy Ray Valentine will be joining me for The Farm's maiden Zoom gathering. Join us on 5/17 and see what all is in store.
Ohio is a state that really put the hook in me while I was working on my second book, A Special Relationship: Trump, Epstein, and the Secret History of the Anglo-American Establishment Book I. It had been on my radar previously, of course --you can't write about Native American mounds without addressing pre-Colonial Ohio sooner or later. What's more, as a son of West Virginia, the Adena and Hopewell cultures were the inspiration for my forays into Mound Builder research. While well-represented in Northern Appalachia (i.e. the WV and Kentucky), the Adena, and especially Hopewell, were most prolific in the Ohio Valley. Several remarkable earthworks remain in that region, one of which I have a longstanding obsession with. But more on that in a future installment.
For this outing, I want to start off by reflecting on something rarely addressed by political and historical commentators, both mainstream and underground alike. And that is the staggering political power the state of Ohio, as well as its flagship of Cincinatti, possess. As noted above, I first became aware of this while working on my Epstein book. And it was not the "rogue" financier's ties to the state the initially sparked my interest either. Rather, it was trying to grok the history of neo-conservativism. The more I looked at the geopolitical history of the US, the more obvious it seemed that Theodore Roosevelt's name should enter into this conversation far more than it does.
Good ole Teddy defined conservative internationalism, a proto form of neo-conservativism, that dominated Republican foreign policy circles prior to the First World War. Like the closely related liberal internationalism or "Wilsonianism" (which later transformed into modern neo-liberalism), it envisioned a more robust place for America in international affairs. But whereas liberal internationalism looked to global organizations and packs as a means for influencing world affairs (which led to the League of Nations and later the UN), the conservative internationalists sought Pax Americana, or a US-dominated union with the British Empire at a minimum. At the heart of this ideology was an unbridled reverence for US military power and its ability to shape the world in America's image. While eclipsed for much of the twentieth century by neo-liberalism, conservative internationalism made a vigorous return during the twenty-first century under the neo-con moniker.

Teddy... |
At this point, you may be wondering what this has to do with Ohio. Glad you asked! See, while Teddy Roosevelt dominates the narrative surrounding the Republican party during the late nineteenth/early twentieth century, he was really a frontman for the Buckeye state's powerful political machine that controlled the party for decades. From 1868 till 1912, the Republican party controlled the presidency for 32 of those 44 years. During it's years in power, the party fielded eight presidents, and all but two of them (Roosevelt and Chester A. Arthur) hailed from Ohio.
While many will look to Ulysses S. Grant as the most significant of the native Ohioan presidents, none left a greater mark on this nation than William McKinley. While the United States had already become an empire within North American by this time, it was McKinley who expanded US influence far beyond those shores. During his presidency, the US both annexed the Republic of Hawaii as well as launching the Spanish-American War that resulted in the overseas territorial acquisitions of Puerto Rico, Guam, Cuba, and the Philippines. In many ways, the Spanish-American War, the first major American war fought outside of North America, can be seen as the beginning of the American Empire.
And while Roosevelt no doubt did his part in bringing out this state of affairs, McKinley and fellow Ohioan and future president William Howard Taft. His son, US Senator and presidential candidate Robert A. Taft Sr., is often credited as a major force in American "isolationism" during the first half of the twentieth century. In reality, isolationism, or non-interventionism, largely staying out of European affairs (i.e. the developing struggle between the UK and Nazi Germany).
Robert A. Taft, like his father, was far more interested in Asia. This has long been at the heart of the divide in the Republican Party between conservative internationalists and isolationists. In reality, both sides wanted the American Empire. The question was whether the US should pursue world order in conjunction with the European powers, or whether it should pursue Manifest Destiny in Asia, leaving Pax Americana in its wake. Teddy Roosevelt favored the former while the Tafts and their backers were in the latter camp.
This early rift in the Republican Party was reflective of the two regional powers within the party, Ohio and New York state. High society in New York has always felt a close affinity for Europe and the culture of the motherlands. Ohio, by contrast, was at the cross roads of the industrial powerhouses in the North East and Midwest on the one hand, and the South by way of Appalachia, on the other. It was also on the cusp of the West, and at one point had been the West. Hence, it never had quite the Old World "refinement" of New York, possessing more of the pioneer spirit that looked Westward.
Cincinnati's Society Origins
All of this is reflected in Cincinatti. Sitting right at the border of Ohio and Kentucky, Cincy looks like northeastern industrial city (I was reminded of Cumberland, Maryland), feels like a Southern one and displays an occult sensibility that easily rivals DC. The last one is hardly surprising when considering the city's long time links to various orders. The city was founded by Revolutionary War general Arthur St. Clair, a figure shrouded in mystery. Little is known of his origins, but he is believed to have hailed from Scotland. Allegedly, he attended the University of Edinburg and apprenticed with famed physician William Hunter. The implies some amount of money on the part of his family, raising the distinct possibility he was a member of Clan Sinclair, the quasi mystical family responsible for Rosslyn Chapel.
Regards of St. Clair's origins, he engrained himself with George Washington, who was a crucial supporter of St. Clair's throughout his controversial military career (at one point he was court martialed for the loss of Fort Ticonderoga). His relationship with Washington contributed to his time as President of the Continental Congress and later governor of the Northwest Territory. The latter included all or most of the modern states of Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Wisconsin, Illinois and a good chunk of Minnesota. Curiously, much of my recent journey took me through St. Clair's old Northwest Territory. I spent extensive time in Wisconsin and Ohio, drove through a good chunk of Indiana, and sliver of Illinois. This region encompasses the modern day "Little Egypt" of the Midwest. It's also awash with Native American mounds, the pyramids of what is now the eastern part of the US.

But even more intriguing than his relationship with General Washington is his membership is the Society of Cincinnati. As should be obvious, the city St. Clair founded is named after this order. In addition to St. Clair, other members of the Society were among Cincy's earliest inhabitants. Probably the most notable was German Army officer David Ziegler, who became the settlement's first mayor. Curiously, both the Society and city have a strong German presence.
